    You really need to use chests a touch more this time. Every time you die from falling off everything will be lost... ooh one of those thingies can be a graveyard to mark each death. Your spawn dome would work perfect for that.

    Should pour lava on top of one sphere, perhaps the mining one. An upside down house would be nifty but wouldn't that be impossible on the bottom of a sphere? Oh and a monster trap in the sky that drops the loot w/o you actually taking it would be humorous (make it a fair walk away from your current area so it doesn't look bad as a giant floating box). Just hang out in a sphere watching items drop...
    Also looks like you're going to need a cobble generator.


    Last thought, what would happen if you go to the nether with that mod active?

    Ok I've figured out where the "minecraft.jar" is. It's actually the exe.
    Can not get files to move in to the exe to test if mods would work using 7zip (possibly a slightly older version).

    Looking at those files it seems the demo is beta 1.3 as there are no wolf references. So current minecart stuff would be difficult but texture packs are possible, and probably would be entertaining to try.

    Yep the demo can be used though it really needs an inventory editor to do things within the time limit.
    Took 60 mins to mine resources and build a level 2 Menger Sponge with a bit left over. I wanted to build a level 3 sponge but only 30 mins left won't cut it.

    Looks like the demo is running beta 1.3 or 1.4. Mods may be able to work though they may need to be specially made, hmm unless an older version mod could just be poped in.


    Just tried a beta 1.3 texture pack and it worked. So we can make texture packs.

    They started out small and cute.
    Craving love they hug anything that moves.
    Finding love they grow bigger and stronger.
    Now they want to love you.


    Main idea:
    Slimes attack mobs (any) and grow larger.
    If a slime gets to a certain size it will absorb hostile mobs.
    Possibly gain extra abilities depending on what creature.
    Get larger with more kills.
    Largest could maybe absorb more mobs to get more abilities.

    Slime: merge to grow larger.
    Zombie: more damage.
    Skelly: shoot slime balls.
    Spider: climb walls / shot web.
    Creeper: run silent / mini-explosion (some damage to self).

    Maybe if the slime absorbs two creepers it would gain both the silent and mini-explosions, same idea if it got two spiders to be able to climb and shoot webs. Otherwise just the first ability would mix with the other types. So a spider+creeper will be a silent wall crawler and a skelly+zombie would have more damage slime balls.
