You can make graves off camera... actually that would be funny. Make the graves then at some point later you die and respawn only to turn around and show us the row upon rows.

Fine then... a mushroom merchant wearing dark goggles/sunglasses in a very dark area or only appears when it's dark.

If you don't like the glasses then use goggles, every good steampunk has a trusty pair or two.

But you need shaded ones for the night to keep track of the visions in your eyes.
