I would like it if the Mojang screen was the Mojang screen and not a MCpatcher thing. I thibk people would know when they read the website/post to use Mcpatcher.
It has an insanely big crest...it flys...it's kind of small...and it is featured in the beginning of Walking with Dinosaurs: Giant of the Skies...IT'S NOT A DINOSAUR
I would like to thank you all for approving of the multiple time periods idea, I see this debate is going both ways so I'm trying to think of a way everyone can agree on,
The mod makers are working on one dimension right now, but maybe add more in the future? Maybe a world where all dinos live together?
I remember GameChap & Bertie playing a mod that added four dimensions so it might not be that hard
Thats what I mean...A dino one, and a Ancient Civ One...
I don't know if this has been suggested before or not, but my suggestion is instead of using multiple dimensions you should just have one and then make new biomes for the different time periods. I haven't worked enough with modding to full understand how it would be down, but it would essentially be a redo of mooshroom code(i.e T-Rex will only spawn in the Cretaceous biome, like how Mooshroms will only spawn in the Mushroom biome, though this may be because they only spawn on mycilium, not sure). But that would be one way to do it, not the best solution but for now it might work, also if I had a better understating of the code I would be happy to try and help!
Edit: One last thing, if possible the biomes should be large biomes, to help prevent a T-Rex from rampaging through a ancient civ biomes/village, or something like that.
I don't think this would be a good idea because the F/A mod does want to have some realism, so gladiators and dinos separated by a river is not very realistic. I think multiple dimensions would be cool so you would have to explore more to find people/dinos in the dimensions
On another note, the triassic update...FLY PTEROSAURS FLY!!!!! I am Greatly looking forawrd to the Triassic Update! I bet PoetPlays will be happy with all the new archeology stuff!!! Oh btw, which update is Anu going to be in?
It would include All the dinos, even if it means not really any realism. There would be different biomes like the Overworld ones, but different. For example, a Desert-type biome could have only a few types of dinosaurs like only Pachys, and a unique one, Gallimimus, and would have Saguaro cactuses a new plant. Also, this is a biome idea, but a dry, shrubby desert with Ankylosaur herds and the occasional pack of sandy raptors.
Just an idea, but a new boss in the overworld ocean called the Great Shark, which would be a giant shark that would have red eyes, and a new oxygen helmet would be worn to go underwater and fight him/her. He would possibly drop a scarab gem, gold, and a magical/enchanted trident called the Trident of Atlantis!
This might be a cool little feature for decoration, ancient plates you can clean off at a archaeological workbench, then put them down and put food on them
YAY! I am really looking forward to the Nether one! I love the ghast! It also seems like there is an abandoned mineshaft under the village. Oh and the pigslug is a nice addition as well.

Nice model
EDIT: For your mammal models use the hexagon and blue dna like the sabre cat and mammoth and dodo.

I still like the idea of one united dino dimension. I do like the biome though, and I think it could fit into the unified dino dimension.
