Condensers and the Geladen Star are no longer learnable for transmutations. Kinda defeats the purpose of the Geladen multiblock if you can just learn it.
Added Condenser upgrades, so you can upgrade (or downgrade, not sure why you would do that though...) existing condensers without breaking them or dealing with dropped items.
You can now modify how a condenser reacts to redstone signals by right clicking it with a redstone torch.
Suuri Star's can now extract/insert Exchange Energy into a Transmutation Tablet (Note: This is a bit hacky and may not work properly as EE3 updates).
Alright, finally fixed that entity ID issue and am using the Forge entity registry instead in 1.7.10. Also hopefully set the mappings correctly so you don't lose any existing creepers. THIS DOES NOT ADD THE CREEPERS IN THE 1.8 VERSION, THIS IS JUST A PATCH FOR COMPATIBILITY.
Hey, I think this is a really good mod. There are very few reliable and up to date mods that limit inventory. Is there any chance that a config file for this is in the works? For example, the achievement system is a bit finicky in multiplayer environments in general for vanilla minecraft and it would be good to have an option to disable that unlock and instead specify the locked number of slots in a config.
Er...there is a config that already has exactly what you're asking since the first release.
Simple Condensers is, as the title suggests, adds simple to use condensers. I was originally just making this for me and my friends, but ended up posting it on twitter and got people interested.
Items/Blocks
Suuri Star
Used in the crafting on the Geladen Star and for transferring energy from a condenser or Transmutation Tablet to another. Right-click an empty Suuri Star on a condenser or a Transmutation Tablet to extract its energy, then right click another to transfer the energy to it.
Geladen Star
Used in the actual creation of the condensers. To create one, you must make a 3x3x3 structure of Ash Infused Stone with a large Alchemical Chest in the center. Then, with 8 minium dust in your inventory, right click the center of any side of the structure with a Suuri Star to create the Geladen Star.
The Condensers
There are 3 tiers of condensers (one for each of the Alchemical Dusts), Verdant, Azure, and Minium Condensers. Functionally, they all work the same. They each will consume one item per stack every cycle and convert it into energy, and create one of it's target item per cycle. To create items, you must put a tome in the top right slot of the interface and an item you've learned in the top left slot.
Then any items that do NOT match the target item and have an exchange energy value will be consumed.
Normally if no valid target item is given, it will leave items stored in it alone. Depending on the redstone settings of the condenser, it may or may not condense items into energy if it receives a redstone signal. It's redstone settings can be changed by right-clicking it with a redstone torch.
The difference between each tier is speed. The Verdant Condenser has a cycle once every second, the Azure once every 1/2 second, and the Minium condenser once every tick.
Condenser Upgrades
Sometimes you want to upgrade a condenser, but don't want to hassle with breaking it and dealing with all the items it drops. Condenser Upgrades allow you to upgrade a condenser to the next stage up (or downgrade to the previous stage if you're mad). So you can change that Azure condenser to a Minium one with a simple right click. Remember though that upgrades must go in order, so you can just upgrade a Verdant Condenser directly into a Minium one.
I have a mod series of YouTube and your mod was featured in it so I will share it here.
NB: The stone and dark creeper kept crashing the 1.8 server we were on just before their explosion - is this something to do with the way they drop the items/blocks when they explode?
Not sure what's causing that problem actually. Need to do some more snooping before I can apply a fix.
*grumble grumble grumble* It's crashing because I stupidly use entity ids instead of Forge's mod mob registering. This is fixed in the 1.8 version, but I will backport that fix. In the mean time, either drop elemental creepers for now or remove another mod that adds mobs using entity ids to make room for EC.
I guess I am overlooking it but where are the unlocks saved? I'm editing a map and every time I delete my player dat to test it the unlocks are still there. Which cause my char to have more slots unlocked each time I test my map. It seems to be almost server/localhost saved and not per char. Even using another account to open the map the slots are already unlocked.
They're saved in the player's persisted nbt data. Due to how Minecraft save files work in single player, the only way to truly refresh it is to edit both the [player/uuid].dat of the player and the level.dat (which also stores a copy of the player.dat and replaces it if it is missing). I might add a command one of these days to modify it in game.
Well, the latest fix seems to have brought along a new problem. Since the blocked slots are now in the top-left corner, and this is where shift-clicking items from the belt go to, you shift-clicking items out of the belt no longer works until you've unlocked all slots.
Would it be possible to somehow fool Minecraft into thinking that the inventory starts where the blocked slots end? Or that it ends where blocked slots start?
Quick fix:Go into the configs and turn off reverse order unlocking. Since now it checks if it can move the item to another slot before dropping it, shift-clicking into a locked slot is not too big an issue.
And to answer the question, again no, for a similar issue as stopping the shift-clicking. Each container draws the player's slots on their own way, so there's no real way to get a fix that would cover all cases. And again, no hooks into how shift-clicking works because again, each container does it differently
yeah, unfortunately there's not much I can do about the shift clicking thing since all containers do it differently, so unless I unrealistically make a special clause for every single inventory gui for every mod out there, not much I can do.
Fixes disable slot rendering when the player has a potion effect
Fixes disable slot rendering in Applied Energistics machines
Locked slot buttons just use button id 0 now. They're disabled anyway, shouldn't really care if they share an id with another button if you can't even use them.
When the player picks up an item and it ends up in a locked slot, it will now see if there's an empty slot that it can go into first before dropping it, hopefully stopping people from dropping items off skyblocks when shift-clicking items to one's inventory.
Um, you could just report bugs to me instead of to Jaded. As it stands Jaded has been the only one reporting bugs directly to me (from bugs being reported to her), so I end up not knowing about a bug for while. That Thermal Expansion phantom item for example, I didn't even know about that one. I've have been and will continue to fix bugs, but I need people to report them to me ASAP so I can fix them ASAP, and I won't know about all the bugs because I'm not bug testing 24/7.
lomeli12 please resize the friendly, spider and creeperfish, I played the 1.8 versions and the the regular creepers are now smaller.
I was gonna say what you were going on about, until I checked. They're a little bit too big and they're floating a bit. I never noticed that before. O_o

Er, thanks? I'm not entirely sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing (in terms of not expecting good information).
