Found this rather large island spawn, looks perfect for a casual survival island setting. No land in sight from the shoreline on all sides, fairly good caves, and not 1 but 2 water temples just off shore on opposite sides of the island.

Jul 8, 2014I am trying to change a few textures in game, mostly the color of some of the flowers and the hardened dyed clay. My problem is that no matter what I do it does not seem to be taking effect in game. This is what I have done in order:Posted in: Resource Pack Help
Went into versions folder and found the folder corresponding to the game version I'm using, that would be 1.7.10
Opened up the texture files I wanted to alter in paint.net and applied the desired changes.
Confirmed the change, closed winrar and opened the game, and now here's where it gets stupid.
Nothing shows as changed in game, and when I exit out of game and go back to the files I worked on they have reverted to their original state, erasing the work I put in. This has happened approx. 3 times now.
I am very frustrated right now and would love for someone to tell me what exactly I did wrong if anything and how to fix it.
Jun 19, 2014Just a simple house design I came up with that is spacious, simple to make if you have the time and mats(if survival), and hopefully pleasing to look at. Rather modernist I suppose, but I'm not an architect so don't quote me on that. Here are pics detailing the building process for anyone wanting to replicate for their own purposes.Posted in: Screenshots
Here's a preview of what it will end up looking like
Build up the walls by 3 blocks
Add the floor
Add one more row to your pillars before connecting them, they should now extend 4 high above the floor
Add a front deck with rails
Build an entryway like so, using stair blocks, glass panes and a door
Add in your walls/windows around the house, I used the same design seen here all the way around
Add a roof to the deck
Begin your second floor, leaving out the two sections that extend from the main part of the house
Add a decorative trim to the edge of the house all the way around
This is how I did the small roofs for the two extended sections. Grey things are just stone pressure plates to hide the bright of the wood logs. The roof is done all with half planks to get an interesting dip on the outside while retaining a vaulted ceiling look inside.
Add in the floor for the second floor, don't forget to leave a gap all around the center pillar for the stairway(if you choose to place it there as I did)
Add in walls for the second floor, I followed same design as the first floor
Now for the top roof, I made it flat mostly as you won't really be able to see it from above. Followed the same design as the lower roofs
A few final shots... Interior First floor, Interior Second Floor, and a couple outside looks
Just a note: I left the logs showing throughout the interior of the house to create visual interest and give a sense of symmetry(two colors would have been rather bland without something to break them up). This is of course a matter of opinion, if you don't like it there are plenty of other ways to make the space interesting. Hopefully someone finds this useful!

No worries, you can still send it. You can just take very detailed pictures and/or send the world save. Whichever works.
I'll just upload the save I think. That's probably the easiest thing to do. Here's a preview image it's mostly just a largish house I suppose built in the desert style. I tried to incorporate the colors you seemed to be using in your other buildings so it will flow nicely.
Here's the link http://www.mediafire...6awcrptfkd49fa9
And a couple of preview pics
Let me know if that link doesn't work, it's been awhile since I uploaded anything so not entirely sure I did it right
Feb 19, 2013I meant to get back to you here (I did in fact make something) but after I finished, I realized I didn't know how to make it into a schematic or whatever so its just sitting on my world now serving no purpose >.<Posted in: Creative Mode
Feb 14, 2013Looks good so far. Just a couple tips. I can't tell for sure from your pic so make certain that you have at least 9-10 blocks of height space to get spruce trees to grow efficently. They dont require any water to grow so you can get rid of those unless you're doing it for aesthetic purposes (looks). And be certain to leave 2 blocks of space between every sapling for optimal growth as well. Keep in mind if you decide to add other types of trees to your farm, you will need to leave 4 blocks of space between saplings of a differing type. This is to prevent leaves from overlapping as trees will not grow if leaves from a different type of tree will be obstructing their path. Good luck with your farmPosted in: Creative Mode
Dec 29, 2012I really like the look of this world and was excited to play around with the mushrooms and post some pics, but I'm having a problem. I downloaded the world and put it in my saves. I then went to the menu screen and it is showing as a creative world with cheats on (exactly as I was expecting). I then log in, only to find that it is now suddenly a survival world for some reason, which is understandably a little frustrating for someone wanting to get a bird's eye view as I build. Any ideas on whats going on, or should I just get a temp flymod?Posted in: Creative Mode
Sep 11, 2012Lithuen posted a message on [1.4] NBS Craft [Best Anti-Grief][Coreprotect][WorldGuard][WatchBlock][FreeBuild][No Lag]IGN: LithuenPosted in: PC Servers
I've only been on the server a couple days so far but I'm currently working on a VERY large castle that I think is worthy of builder status. Also is the server down cause for some reason I can't connect....
Apr 14, 2012Looks like a person riding a dolphin at one of those aquarium shows. Yous can see the dolphin's nose in the botton right and the body curves up to the top left where the tail is flipped around. The head of the "rider" is in the top right corner.Posted in: Screenshots
Mar 17, 2012Thats a really cool building! I love the texture pack a lot as well. May I ask if there is somewhere I can download it? And also what is the resolution of the pack (I only ask this 'cause my comp tends to act up with packs above 64x64)?Posted in: Screenshots
