Joseph looked at the boy once again. Then, slowly, the air around him started to flicker, like an old projector. He sat there in amazement as he watched the confrontation, and looked down when the headmaster placed his hand in Daisuke's chest. However, instead of being repulsed by Daisuke's actions, which he should have been, he slightly understood them. He spoke to the unconscious student, again, "I- I guess I get what you were trying to do... I've got parents to, and they always want me to be... Well, not me. I can't tell you any life lessons, there's nothing as simple as fables in real life. And I can't tell you to rebel against your parents, because I'd be a hypocrite. Just..." At this point he trailed off, and the projection around him faded. No more headmaster, no more confrontation, just two silent guys, sitting in a courtyard. Joseph stood up, he was done speaking.

"Um..." Joseph looked down at him. He just stood there for a few seconds, wondering what to do. Finally, practicality took over, and he bent down to pick him up. And failed. He tried rolling him towards the infirmary, but no amount of grunting and pushing would budge him. Finally, he just sat down next to him. "I- I'm not very good at talking to people, even unconscious ones, but... Ah, forget it, it's not like I could help. I'd just dredge up old memories of yours." Joseph was still in shock. He couldn't believe that the headmaster was dead. But it would make sense. After all, everyone was probably in mourning. And this guy was the headmasters grandson. Joseph looked at him with even more pity.

Soon, Joseph saw a figure. They were standing outside the main building, and were... In tears? Joseph moved towards them deliberately, determined to figure out what was happening. However, he suddenly paled a bit at direct confrontation, so he moved a bit more gingerly. Gulping, he managed to pipe up, 'H-hey... What's happening, there's just... No one here..." Nervously, he wrung his hands together. At the time, it hadn't occurred to him that approaching a single crying person in the middle of a deserted magical campus was a bad idea.
((Well, at least I'm pretty sure Daisuke was outside the main building. I'm a bit fuzzy on where he was situated.))

Joseph had slept through the whole thing. All night, he had stayed up pouring over texts about time and space, paradoxes and theory. Unfortunately, he couldn't understand half of the words in the novel. When he awoke, the campus was silent. Slowly, he slid out of bed and opened the curtains. A crack of light filtered into the room, illuminating the floating dust particles. He winced, and closed the curtains again. He got dressed, jeans and a plain white T-shirt, and left the room.

The silence pushed down on him from all sides. He glanced around, but nobody was about. He considered going back inside, but dismissed the idea. He walked down the path, his feet tapping against the concrete. He looked around again. Still no one. He sped up, moving towards the center of the campus. Something was VERY wrong here.

    Name: Joseph Henrietta

    MC Forums Name: LincolnLogsV2

Bio: Joseph was always average. No matter what he did, he'd always be mediocre. His grades were straight B's. He was a disappointment. His mother was a fantastic supermodel, his father a globe-trotting reporter. He grew up in a condo in California, where he had everything he could possibly want, but even with the encouragement of new, great toys and private tutors he never excelled. Secretly, he was also disgusted with himself and wanted to get better at... everything, but to no avail. Eventually, he learned to love himself, but it took him quite a while. When he reached his teen years, he realized that he had powers beyond the... ordinary. Strange things would pop up around him, whether it be gentlemen in suits or people in futuristic outfits. However, all of them acted like they couldn't see him. Instead of being freaked out, he was ecstatic! Of course, not out loud. However, the more he thought about it, the more scared he grew. What if he created some kind of time paradox? Would he cease to be? He enrolled at the university a while ago to figure that out, though he's had a heck of a time trying to get a single moment with Mr. Toki, since he tries to skip classes. Despite the potential dangers, Joseph is excited to develop his powers, hoping to grow past his legacy of mediocrity.

New Student or already studying at the University?: Already studying, though you'd probably not know it since he doesn't get out much.

What Element/and or type of magic. (Could be fire, water, dark, ice, any element you want. You can even make your own element or type of magic): Time, he can project past and future events in the room he's standing in. Also, he can move forward and backwards in time VERY slightly. Like, mere minutes slightly.

Luggage: Mostly clothes, his journal, some money, and his phone.

Appearance: Joseph is about average height and weight for his age, 17, and is basically plain all over. Light brown hair, hazel eyes, a rather normal face, not very muscular. His skin is pretty pale from staying inside often.

Why did you come to the University?: To find out if he can create a paradox, and if so then to prevent it.

Personality: He's... Well, to be blunt, he's REALLY quiet. Even when you know him very, very well, he still doesn't talk much. The only time when he's remotely funny or witty is when he's writing in his journal. There, he's a different person. Not as nearly insecure or quiet as he is among other people. This, of course, is the only reason why he won't let you read his journal, not because he's afraid you'll learn his secrets. It's hard for him to make friends, but if he does then he'll always help you with a quiet kind of loyalty.

    Name: Gerri Snome.
    Age: 15

    Gender: Male.

Power: He can record anything he hears at all, though only a max of three sounds, and each lasting a max of 3 minutes. Now before you think this is lame, think of it this way. He can open his mouth and a full symphony could start playing. Or perhaps the sound of nails on a chalkboard, in crystal clarity.

Appearance: Gerri is of average height and weight, though with slightly stronger arm and leg muscles than the average 14-year-old. However, this doesn't show up on his frame. He has dark green eyes, which are VERY dark green, and black hair, which he prefers to sweep backwards, out of his face. Speaking of his face, he's not that much of a looker. He got that from his father, though his dad thinks that he'll grow into his mother's looks. He ALWAYS wears cargo pants, rain or shine, and a T-shirt with no logos on it.

Bio: Gerri came from an upper-middle-class family, so throughout his life he was afforded several luxuries. He grew up with fencing lessons, swimming practice, and books. Oh so many books. He had several bookcases OVERFLOWING with books. He would read any series he picked up, even obscure foreign ones. Of course, he was regarded as gifted and placed in special classes, but he never felt any different from his classmates. Until now, he's had a perfectly normal, happy life with his friends and parents.

Likes: Reading, Fencing, Listening to classical music, Spaghetti.

Dislikes: Milk, people who pry into his life, people who assert themselves as unconditionally right, unfairness.

Extras: I DID read the rules. Just thought you'd want to know.

Well then. This is an... interesting. Yes, that's the word I'm looking for. Your file is filled with... Can I be frank? Never mind, I don't care, you suck. Seriously. However, trolling people technically isn't a crime, and even though you'd LIKE to do evil things, you really haven't caused any real harm. I mean, you're no worse than the YouTube community. Ugh, people like you make me wish that we had jurisdiction in the internet. It's good that you couldn't do any harm in real life because you were trapped in the internet. Ah well, I guess you get to work the bilge pumps on the ship. See ya.

Well, pneumonoultramicrnscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis would seem a bit... Pedantic. Don't you think? It's like calling a horse a four-legged quadruped. Anyways, you apply, you get in (Well, maybe) and you do what the title says. Your job is to explore the horrible repetitiveness of the outer edges of reality and consciousness. Basically, you sail and mess around and explore the places in between the planes. And by planes, I don't mean the ones with wings. Oh, did I mention you had to do it under the beck and call of an incredibly greedy and cowardly person, one of the worst you'll probably meet.

You're a rather unremarkable person. Either that or you did a big evil and a big good, or vice versa. Anyways, you're dead. Hey, don't blame me, I didn't do it! Hey, put that down before you do something you regret! Phew, that was a close one. Anyways, I'm just here to judge you for what you did in life. Don't worry, you're not going to just wash up on a beach with memory loss, that's the door down the hall.

Let's see... Ooh, this is quite the nice little life file you have... Hm... OOH. NO! She didn't! Are you sure? Ugh, I never would have guessed in a million years! Oh man, that's GOOD stuff. I have to post this on Facebo- oh. Right. Judge-judge-ee confidentiality. Darn. Well, anyways, I sentence you to eternal purgatory. Maybe with parole, if you get me a coffee when you come to appeal. So, uh, just keep walking down the hall until you see a particularly annoying sea captain. You'll be working for him until you go up or down.

Oh yeah, don't get any funny ideas, the elevator key is kept on the nose ring of the guy who works in the coffee shop. And the coffee shop is locked, the key to it is on the other nose ring of the guy who works there. Trust me, it's a flawless system. So, have fun in a theoretically endless job exploring the known edges of the universe.

And now, I'm going to do what every RP does and break character by giving you OOC information!
    YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

    Application

    Name- (Hables Espanol o Ingles?)

Appearance- (On a scale of 1 to 10, how handsome am I? Wait...)

Personality- (Likable people wanted, dislikable people needed. For plot devices.)

Age- (To all Seniors- Sorry, we don't serve your kind here. I'm talking to you, Grandpa.)

    Biography- (So, were you rich?)

Dieography- (Did you drown in a sea of money?)

Items- (JUST KIDDING! Ya can't take it with you, bro. Or sis. Well, I guess you have your clothes but... SHUT UP.)

Rules! I know, anarchy is fun, but even anarchy has rules.

NUMERO UNO- Do NOT needlessly slander other people in this thread. Note the word "needlessly"
NUMERO DOS- DO be a good person. Kind, considerate, able to spell supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
NUMERO TRES- DO be reasonable, you can't be Chuck Norris. No ancient people allowed, remember?
NUMERO QUATRO- Quality! OK, this isn't really a rule, but I expect it. I remember the old roleplays back in Fan art, and all of them blah blah(put blah in your app) blah blah reminiscing so I want quality!
NUMERO CINCO- DO act with some caution! While this RP will have some serious st00f in it, remember that this is the internet, and theoretically babies could be browsing this forum. I said theoretically.
I'm not going to say "NO SPAMMING OR TROLLING HERP DERP" because if you were(Spamming and/or trolling that is), why would you be reading the rules?

Now then, some clarification on the whole "Dying" thing. What did you look like the SECOND before the chain of events leading to your death? That's what you look like. For instance, you look like you did the second before a sword plunged into your chest, even if the first blow didn't kill you. Any questions you have, please direct them to my secretary, the paper shredder three doors down. Or you could pm me. And yes, there are logic holes in this. Deal with it, paradoxes and convenient plot holes are fun.

    Commence thread!

As soon as Jack got off the boat he knew he was in trouble. The island was secluded, they could do whatever they wanted to on this island. Here, he was nothing. He didn't even think they had built a prison yet, though how would he know? So, he did what any Londoner would do when arriving on a new island. In a loud, high-pitched, and obnoxious voice, he said, "This land now belongs to the British Empire! God save the Queen! As long as there is a..." He looked at the wilderness around him."Well, we'll get a Union Jack from somewhere later. There has to be a dollar store around here." He cackled.

Hltael looked down at the boy. Not with pity but with... Something else. Then the glance disappeared and he was back to being all sun and smiles. "While I'm not denying that you don't make a good point, you didn't. So all's well that ends well!" He gave Elrick another grin. "But remind me, if I go flying with you, that I should pack extra pillows." He winked.
