    *facepalm*

    It's spelled "professional."

btw pro tip: it does the sponsor no good if you do not mention them in the server description :L (unless you meant to say donor)
Never mind. I didn't realize that you had a separate page with more information.

Other than that it looks rather polished. :D

There's only one true way of confirming your suspicions. Generate a new creative world and spawn some golems to see how they react to the environment. Keep in mind that some mobs will despawn when they go out of the range of loaded chunks.

Try removing bukkit entirely and just run vanilla minecraft. If the problem is then gone, reinstall bukkit using a the newest RECOMMENDED version along with the plugins that correspond to that version. Also, are there any error messages in the console?

Bukkit is a multiplayer mod which aids in the process of customizing a servers. It is a server-side mod only, so to play on a bukkit server (which if you've played on servers before, chances are you have) you don't need to modify your own game.

Tekkit is both a client and server side mod which allows for greater server customization than bukkit. Tekkit is able to add entirely new blocks to the game. The problem with tekkit is that each player who joins a tekkit server must have tekkit installed in order to play, whereas bukkit allows for plain (vanilla) minecraft.

    Age: 16
Experience: I know C++ and Java. I received an A+ in my C++ course at school and a 4.0 GPA in a Java college course at Boston University (yes it was a real college course). I have only made one bukkit plugin (the one I'm currently working on), but the API is pretty easy to learn.
How long you have been coding for: 2 years
Your coding skill (1-10): 10 for general coding, 7 for bukkit because I'm still learning the API but I almost have it comletely down :)
    Have you played Skyrim: Yes
Why should we accept you: I have a lot of experience in programming. I am 1 year ahead in my programming courses at my high school (I'm a junior taking AP Java Data Structures while the rest of my class is seniors). I know how to work in a group... not sure what else to put here. If I think of something else I'll post it.
    Skype Username: LimitedWard

Note: I am currently working on a bukkit plugin for another person. If you can wait for me to finish up with that one, that would be great. I'd prefer to only be working on one programming project at a time with my heavy workload (6 courses, all AP/honors except for one). If you're able to wait a little while, I might be able to get the job done in November (this may seem like forever, but programming takes time).

Thanks for your consideration.Oh by the way, you should definitely use WorldPainter to get the general landmass formed. There are many tutorials on it.

You have to contact the makers of the mods for permission first before making a mod pack.

Supposedly you have to restart your computer right after updating your drivers. Did you do that? Also are you running this on windows or mac?

posted a message on Easiest Programming Language to Learn?
I learned how to program with C++. It wasn't too difficult for me, but then again I had a teacher (who actually purposefully acted like he doesn't know how to program to let us figure it out for ourselves XD). All modern day programming languages have the same basic principals. The only difference is the syntax.

I haven't tested out the singleplayer version, since SPC hasn't been updated last time I checked (it is now).
There's no obvious bugs in multiplayer, now I use that most of the time.

Yeah multiplayer has pretty much always worked. It's SPC that causes me the most trouble. I suppose I can't complain because having a half working SPC version is better than none.

That's what I concluded eventually, thanks for confirming it.
Everything seems to work fine since 1.3.

Oh it still doesn't work for me. I'm not quite sure why.

posted a message on WorldEdit glitch?
It's a bit late for me to tell you this, but the reason why that's happening is a bug (that still hasn't been fixed). The problem is that if you are in creative mode, the block you left click with the wand will break before WorldEdit records its position, so instead it records the next closest block in your crosshair. The only workaround for this at the moment is //hpos1 and //hpos2.

24GB is more than you would ever need to host a minecraft server. Why would you spend money/resources like that when you would most likely not even come close filling that capacity? I'm not trying to bash on your aspirations, but I hope you thought about your decision and did research before investing in that sorta thing.

8GB is a very large server that can hold over 400 people. 24GB is overkill.
