About Our Players
Mooniverse is a Minecraft server for gamers looking to build and relax and still have a bit of danger in their lives. Most of our players are 20+ years old,some married with children, and all enjoy building and chatting in Minecraft without the hassle of PvP and fear of grief. All Mooniverse players must be 18+ to enter. We have creeper block explosion turned off and nearly no pvp areas, but everything else is normal rules. The mobs on this world are dangerous and lethal, and we urge people to band together to survive attacks from the denizens of the world. The server runs a white list and most current players are on EST. The server is hosted by the excellent Beastnode with enough slots for 70 people (http://www.beastnode.com/) We typically have 25-35 people on during prime time hours.

Building with an RPG Element
You begin on the Moonvierse coming off the boat as a Pioneer. Pioneers can do everything a normal Minecraft player can do in single player mode. Soon after, you are expected to choose a profession to further your growth, and the growth of the colony. We offer 3 Classes currently that afford you benefits befitting your intended duties:
- Fighters - Fighters protect the other pioneers and keep the wilderness at bay. They scout out dangers, fight off beasts and the Murlocs, and have skills that help them on the battle field. Soldiers will also be able to build fortifications. Soldiers get abilities like swordsmanship, Axes, stimpacks, leap and taunt.
- Wizards- Wizardsmain duties are to study the planet and learn its secrets for the betterment of the colony. Scientists have learned to harness power from the planet as a means of travel. They are the only class that gets teleportation. Scientist get things like teleport gates, fireballs, heal other, and herbalism skills
- Traders- Traders are the builders of the new civilization. they are constantly tinkering and creating new technologies that help us all. Engineers are the best at Mining, and get several gadgets that make the Engineering life easier. Engineers get mining skills and gadgets to use like grapple, grenade, and rebreathers
- There is no home command, and no spawn command. You can use a bed and ask for a recall to your last bed if you have the proper reagents. but when you are scouting, be careful! There is no way to pull your tail out of trouble if you get lost. Death brings a very real possibility that you will not be able to quickly get back and claim your things.
- The government of the new colony is run by players. Admins play more of a Game Master role in what goes on. Admins are in charge of what has happened before. Players are in charge of what happens next.
- We put up with no jerk like behavior. If your plan is to make life miserable for other people, there are hundreds of servers out there for you. This is our free time as well as yours. If you are making life generally unpleasant for other folks, there will be no debate, no drama induced drawn out process of elimination, you will just be removed from the white list.
- We provide a Mumble server for all of our players.
- We provide lots of plugins that make life under the Mooniverse more fun. We implement things like MCMMO, Magic Spells, Dungeon Builder, Monster Apocalypse, etc.
- Everyone is very nice and helpful. we have 250 great people on the white list already =)
- We generally allow people to build anywhere. You can create a stake of land by yourself by simply laying down a chest. See our first timer's guide for more information.
