Do you have plans to add more varied terrain types? I do like a lot of the mountains but their frequency in most biomes makes a lot of terrain look the same.
I'm especially talking about things like the cliffs in the BOP Jade Cliffs biome.
Got bored so make a little Cinematic with your texture pack. Not so great tho.

Wow! Thank you so much for making that! I think it turned out great, especially as a showcase for natural generation (though it is a good reminder for me to figure out how to adjust the swamp color). I'm going to add it to the thread, if you don't mind!
Inspired by Dokucraft and other RPG texture packs, Tender Sugar is a handpainted 32x texture pack seeking to give Minecraft a more colorful and softer feel. It is still very much a work in progress, with almost all current blocks completed and items soon to be started.

Been working on a cobblestone texture today. It went through so many versions so far.
Getting a nice texture & color set is being quite hard.
Check the spoiler. Criticism on the texture would be great.
I really love the shape and cartoony feel of your textures. But right now, your color choices feel kind of constrained and limited, there seems to be little hue variation in shadows and highlights. Maybe some adjustments there might make the forms pop a little more?
In my news, I accidentally made what might be the King of all Cosmos in ghast form.
Oh man, I am way excited for the bees, I've missed them as a feature since nandonalt's version way back in the day. Thanks for bringing it and other sweet new features.
thanks for the feedback. as for the cobble, I can see what you mean, but I'm not sure how to apply shading to such small surfaces. I need to have small stones to contrast from the brick, and if I have sharp shading on all of them, it looks a bit noisy and messy. I will work on the sand, however. thanks again!
Maybe if you added some darkness to the grout/cracks in the cobblestone? it might add a bit of extra depth. The mycelium by the way, is super gorgeous, and I would also like to see how it tiles.

It's my current WIP texture pack. I have the terrain done but I wanna finish the mobs before I release it for people to try out. It'd give me some motivation to complete the items x.x
In the order they appear: Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Cyan, Dark gray, Light gray, Black.
I see the buggy dark gray tile, ill get rid of it... Aside from what, thoughts?
I love the color variations, but I kinda feel like the missing tile pieces don't have enough depth to them? I just feel they should be a bit darker, maybe.

Thanks for all the feedback and support guys.
In my first update, I've added mod support for the Peaceful Pack mod, but from here on out, the updates will be about the vanilla pack itself.
What would you like to see first?
Randomobs or basic CTM for blocks such as glass, wood, and randomized ores?
