I bought the game at Alpha 1.2I remember those gooood times.Everyone was excited when rain came, Rain was in the update.*1 month later*AW F*CK, IT'S RAINING xD
Wish I got it during alpha and not 1.6 beta :sad.gif:. No worries though, I wasn't ever that happy for rain lol.
my first time was in alpha, can't remember the version. I bought the full game in July last year, I didn't do anything instinctivly other than walk around the greenest grass and awesome blocked lighting and eventually died over and over at my spawn. A phew videos soon got me to the skill i am xD :biggrin.gif:
Also state which version of the alpha/or whatever.
I just found out about Minecraft during its beta, I knew it was still in beta but It felt cool buying an awesome game that was still in beta. I started out in 1.6
I remember when I first bought minecraft, it was in 1.6, I instinctively punched the trees for wood, but then went to build my house out of logs, lol not planks. I never knew that you could craft planks. *facepalm*
Portal spawned me in a small 8x8 room. I checked the surroundings, dug a little down and there was the ground of the nether 50 feet under me lol. Still havent managed to safely get down.
I agree with other people. I would quickly light one section of the cave and make sure no baddies were near me. Then i would procede to mine. Then I would explore another part of the cave. If a creeper comes near you, hit run backwards and rinse and repeat :smile.gif:

True, but takes all the sunlight out of the sky. And it makes me lag sometimes in the middle of like a creeper/ skelly fight.
