Aug 7, 2012Welcome to Wildycraft, the server is usually up from 5pm-7am PST and may be open at other times as well. This server is super fun to play in and has very friendly admins.Posted in: PC Servers
The server also has seasonal events with drop parties and random occuring drop parties. Don't miss out on the fun!
We now have factions and more arenas such as parkour, spleef, and capture the flag
For those who like having additional perks, VIP packages are available with a paid donation.
Please atleast give it a try!

Hello everyone! Being an avid Minecraft player, I love to make occasional suggestions on the forums for fun! What I really noticed throughout the world of Minecraft since 1.6.6 beta was the lack of player maneuverability.
What do I mean by that? We need more fun and better ways to move and scale throughout the lands of Minecraft. You might think, what's the biggest problem you are addressing. The biggest problem is scaling down very steep/high buildings and mountains. What's the best solution that not only helps fix the problem, but adds more FUN to the game? The answer is in PARACHUTES.
How does it work?
The parachute-when deployed- basically slows down the rate of falling to an extent which greatly reduces the force of when you hit the ground. When deployed, the parachute can be seen strapped to the player above and visible to everyone.
RecipeThe parachute is made using a total of 18 wool blocks in the crafting grid.Looks like this ( represents wool)Each box that should have wool will need 3 pieces.

The parachute will not be overpowered or out of the theme of Minecraft in any way. First of all, the sheer amount of wool needed for the parachute makes it so it is no easy item that can be mass produced in single or multiplayer vanilla. Second of all, the duration of the parachute lasts only 5 seconds, which makes it convenient for those too high to jump, but still near ground moments. Yet poses a risk to those who wish to use it for HUGE amounts of height. This way, it is only meant to be used for small altitude jumps which severely could've hurt the player if they didn't use the parachute.
PracticalityThe parachute not only helps players in the world of Minecraft to travel easier, but adds more fun to the game. Especially in multiplayer, PvP will have a new flavor to it and many new strategies will be created.
With the parachute, the game would have a new fresh aspect to it, without changing any major aspects. Reiterating on what I said, the parachute would not be useful for scaling down high steep buildings or mountains, rather would be useful for medium to small size altitudes. The parachute would also further add more uses for wool and more strategies in adventure maps and PvP.
If you agreed with, or just enjoyed reading my post, I would greatly GREATLY appreciate a +1.Thank you all very much for reading!

The OP said in the end, not the Nether. I actually like it, if each End only had one cluster of ore that was 10-20 pieces large, you'd find that despite the end being a small area, the ore would be very rare.
Feb 20, 2012Hi guys, as usual I am making another suggestion for maybe Minecraft 1.3 not 1.2. It would be awesome if there could be a rare as diamond ore only found in the End that would be called Freezetome ore. Basically, when mined, you would need atleast a diamond pick or above. It would give 2 ores when mined. You would need 4 ores of Freezetome with any sword or bow in a crafting table to create the weapon into a freeze weapon. Say I do this to a diamond sword, then i could also cast bursts of ice that could freeze mobs yet not be too overpowered for multiplayer since it would be hard to get in the end and would need a diamond pickaxe to mine. Please +1 if you like something like this.Posted in: Suggestions
Feb 20, 2012Just curious, I thought it could be cool if you could have weapons that could attack from long range like wands and/or spears. Maybe they could cast chain lightning too but would be super difficult to make.Posted in: Suggestions
