I am also wondering about the player death scenario in multiplayer. Will there be respawning? Will players be able to join a game right away or will they have to all be ready to start the game at once so that there is no advantage being taken over simply reconnecting at death? I suppose I may be asking these questions at the wrong time.
I discovered this as well. It wasn't anything amazing, though.
But for some reason I seem to have the hang of aiming with arrows really well. I can aim and shoot a monster from like, fifty metres away. I hope other people can do this, so that I don't look like a smarmy bragger.
"AAHAAHAHH THEY FOUND ME THEY FOUND ME"
"And they have a friend!"
^That made me laugh very, very hard. Probably because you said that "they" have a friend, even though they're already in a group. It's hard to explain. It was your choice of words, basically.

Don't tunnel down too far! Dig through the coal for mushrooms or something. There's not much you can plan in a cave, though...
Heh, I rarely shave... Usually because I just don't notice my 'stache grow.
I shaved all of my facial hair apart from the dark bit on my beard before I went into college, though, just in case I scared everyone. It'll probably grow back soon and everybody will scream again.
I didn't find that scary, I found it amazing and beautiful. I tend to enjoy apocalyptic atmospheres just like that. I don't really know why, though. It wouldn't feel too nice.
OF COURSE SURVIVAL MODE IS STILL FLAWED; IT'S NOWHERE NEAR FINISHED! And of course we have to wait for Notch to come back. It's not like anything is going to happen with Minecraft before then.

To avoid weird spawn points inside bases I think that monsters should only spawn on certain terrain, such as dirt and stone so that the only way monsters would actually get inside your base would be for them to just walk into it by chance.
Joat: Yeah, I always found myself all alone on the small maps. I would play those often because my computer explodes at the thought of loading a huge map, and even struggles slightly with a medium one. The only way I can really get a real feel of Survival Mode is to play on the medium one since the monsters actually spawn.
I started playing this and I was hooked for a while (I didn't check the clock, so I don't know how long I was playing) until it went down all of a sudden. The griefers ruin it, though.
What's the "This." thing? I'm seeing it everywhere!
Oh, and I hope there will be a constant day-night transisiton. Maybe the more threatening monsters could come out at night like Castlevania 2/Zelda OOT? I dunno. I think I'm accidentally leaning more towards Zombie Survival here.
The first time I played MapleStory I was trying to find a name that wasn't taken and typed in "Levinous", trying to make it sound vaguely like a Japanese name.
My previous username is "kirby", simply because it was one of my favourite characters from my childhood. I drew comics with him and everything.
Rain causing damage? When you're walking and the rain comes on does your skin rip open and your muscles die and you're left there while you bleed to death?
The only thing it should do is slow you down! Rain is not harmful but instead makes you colder and your clothes absorb the moisture, making them heavier, which means that you need to put more effort into walking normally and uses up more energy.

Everybody's "house" is inevitably flooded before the map reset!
And yeah, SasukeCrafter was very annoying. I'm convinced I saw him grief slightly before, but he left, came back, but never really saw him after that.

(Sudden thought: Finding a 'magical' sword in a cave (like the Master Sword from Zelda) would be cool. It wouldn't make sense, though.)
