I like the idea of Creepers being able control their detonation, but the moment a mob (pack, herd, throng, flock) of creepers catches up to you while your back is turned, it's all over! I would rather have something where they don't self-destruct to release the massive explosion. Something like an ability to throw something that explodes, or something like being able to spit acid or some other corrisive substance. I like the idea of Creepers spitting acid which basically just removes the block it touches (if it hit you, you would, of course, take damage) which would eliminate their traps and endanger your fortresses more subtly and sneakily.
I really hope that my volcano doesn't get in the way now.
SC: You already asked once, and then you ask again in all-caps. It looks like you're pleading, to me. And you don't get to choose what role you have; that's the director's job.
I don't know the difference between "Machinima" and "doing acting in a game", but I've been wanting to do acting-in-a-game for a while now. I'd be more motivated to start if the crosshair would buzz off.
If you specifically want me to do some acting or whatever, let me know and I will do my best. I'm not as interested as others, though, so feel free to choose them instead. Even though I'm a sucker for seeing my character in a video, and since I've been wanting to do my own video for too long, I'd prefer to be directing the movie myself (not meaning directing your movie, but directing a movie with just my own idea).
Edit: Wait, I might want to do some directing. If there's a slot free at the end, I would love to try!
I thought that this was a cool texture when I saw the gray leaves and tree trunk, reminding me of ashes, but I was disappointed when I saw the rest to see that it was just entirely grey. Can't you do something creative?
Griefers are not human! I think this because they dehumanize themself by not being able to speak or communicate with the other players and their only mission is to search and destroy. They're like robots to me. I've seen many people try to communicate with them but they rarely say anything. The moment they load the map they just turn and run straight for the most impressive thing on the map to ruin. "TARGET LOCKED"
Just try reasoning with them, and you will see that your server (or the server you are on) will just be a sea of flames of what once was a happy place full of colour, but is now swamped with fire that IS the constant burning hatred going on in their hearts!
I was in a cave and... well, at this point in typing, I just threw together an MS Paint picture:
(broken heart resembles my health being taken down, sad expression resembles my dissatisfaction)
The game must have thought I touched the zombie. I was just in the cave and I suddenly take damage (1.5 hearts) from out of nowhere. I thought it was an arrow, so I started looking about for skeletons, but there were only zombies about, which hadn't even noticed me. I took out the grassy dirt block which was level with my head and I saw the zombie's legs drop down. This was the only conclusion I could draw, since there was no other way I could have taken damage here.
Weather event? I think you're meaning natural disaster! But yeah, it's a good idea. When one of these rare events occur everyone will have to work together to survive/protect each other and the base from destruction. I like the image of earthquakes splitting the land in two, the split having a far-down pit of lava at the bottom. Friends could get separated and would have to find a way to reunite. There would be the possibility of underground caves being opened and revealed by the split. Things like this really give me an adventurous mood.
Of course, normal weather events should definitely occur. Things like rain, sunshine, clouds, lightning, night, dawn, dusk... I would love Minecraft 500% as much if those happened.
Just to let you know, one has already been made, though I don't know if it was released publicly on that skin site thing. I saw the skin being used about a month ago, but I don't think I saw the person using it since.
