To actually be able to play a game that didn't involve the typical standard leveling system was a breath of fresh air for me. Now MC is going in the direction of the stale already been done area. Please reconsider.

I feel this is the wrong direction for minecraft to be taking. It's a sandbox building game for creativity, not a rpg fps game.

posted a message on 1.10.2 Support! Map Render/Sharing Website. Help Beta test the new Blockview!
I uploaded my map a few days ago, and it finished processing. When I went to view it the only thing I've seen is the gray area with the compass. Can't view anyone else's maps either. Have tried in Chrome, IE, and Firefox as well. No luck with any of them. http://www.minecraftworldmap.com/worlds/2y80Q is the map.

posted a message on Ad Fly usage becoming a major problem
    Dear minecraft community,

We have an issue of the ad fly links becoming a hindrance instead of a help to the download of mods. I liken them to the pop-up advertisements that some sites like to annoy their visitors with. Many of these ad fly link advertisements are not only highly inappropriate ads, but some of them have started holding the browser hostage. For example, they are not allowing the skip this ad link to be clicked, unless you submit to a survey or fill out information. This has started happening more and more lately.

Now I understand that certain modders feel they have the right to some money compensation for their mods they have programmed. Wasn't it enough to put a donation button on their forum thread? Apparently not, as now a lot of them have put links upon double links of adfly ads. I'm not even going to go into the discussion of if they really do have a right to be 'charging' for the mods, since they're just using another man's code to create their items.

I'm asking the community as a whole, to please come up with another more acceptable way of sharing their mods. If this continues, I am strongly leaning towards not clicking on anymore links that are associated with adfly, even if that means not downloading that certain mod that I used to enjoy.

posted a message on New Screenshots Show Off Upcoming "Sky Dimension"
I have to say this looks boring.  Agree with some of the other comments that there should be new blocks, because as it stands right now it just looks like it would be a waste of time to even go up there to explore. Another thing not sure how happy I would be if all of a sudden a lava waterfall dripped on me from a floating island that I wasn't aware of.

posted a message on [Software] zMod v0.9.1 - By Zaneris [1.6.6]
Just want to say I've been using zmod for a few days now, and it has already shown itself to be more stable then the bukkit api that I had tried to use before. Bukkit was lagging out my server to the point it was unplayable. As soon as I started zmod up, the difference in play was amazing.
A couple of questions though. I have been having to have the mobs off, because whenever I set the mobs on in the server properties they lag out my server. Would there be something that zmod could do to handle the amount of mobs spawned in the server?
Also I know you are extremely busy programming Zaneris, yet I was curious when you might setup a wiki for the mod? Learning as I go has been fun, but so many questions on how to use the different functions are still not answered. Specifically how to use the different build tools.
Thanks so much for the effort you are putting into this. It's been a really good server mod!

Is there a way the qv class could be coded to work along with both cjb's minimap, and improved chat? I can run cjb and improved chat together, but can't run yours along with them.

Works nicely for me on Windows xp, and I was running SSP commands mod among others. Going to install it on my other computers that have Windows 7 installed. Your mod blends in well with the multiplayer login screen, and I like that it's not a separate app or launcher.
