I want to download some mods on mac.
I can't find my minecraft folder.
It's not in app support?
SirMeatwad your Minecraft folder is located in your user library folder.
This is how you would navigate to it:
CLICK ON THE PICTURES TO OPEN THEM IN A NEW WINDOW
1. Open finder and click on your username.
2. Open the Library folder.
3. Open the Application Support folder.
4. Open the minecraft folder.
And there you are, I highly suggest dragging the minecraft folder from the Application Support folder in your tool bar like I have here.
This will make it easier for you next time you need to go there, just click on the shortcut and you're there.
If you can't find it still, you are stupid and you should just give up.

The only thing Windows is good at is gaming, and that's it. And the only reason WHY it's good at gaming is because Microsoft has the hold on most computer users due to the fact that the average computer user doesn't know about or what Linux is, and they don't want to spend a lot of money on a computer so they wont buy a Mac.
Therefore, Windows has the largest user base mainly for this reason and in turn, the market for games is shoved onto Windows.
The only thing is, UNIX-based OS like Linux and Mac have no problems what so ever running games, it's just that developers are shoved onto Windows platforms due to the market, and their games are usually developed in DirectX a proprietary Windows standard so making a port is more difficult than if it were written with OpenGL, an open standard.
Development, graphics design, video production, OS use in general is all much more enjoyable and more supported on UNIX based systems.
I'm not trying to start a flame war here, if you enjoy Windows then by all means use it. I'm not going to tell you what to use, I'm only stating factual information that you can chose to alter your decision by.

If you make it generate basic class files so it just speeds up tedious work for us REAL programmers, then I'm completely fine with this tool (although, I don't like that it's written in VB :Skeleton:).
If you do this, your tool wont become another makeMyFailure and programmers will support your tool, and you wont get bashes on every single mod made with it.
