posted a message on Gold ores spawn more often under riverbiomes | Gold Gravel (New block)

Yes, you read it right. I'm not really adding this for the sake of realism, but for the sake of a rather useless biome. Gold ores will generate at levels 1-62/63 since stone generates at levels 53-58.

Gold ores would not generate at riverbeds. But, a new kind of block will. This is basically a gravel with a few textures of gold. When shoveled, will drop 2-3 pieces of gold nuggets and a normal gravel or flint. It will drop the normal gravel, not the 'gold gravel'. Like the normal gravel, it will be affected by gravity. It will be a bit longer to break than normal gravel.

'Gold gravel' is not guaranteed to spawn in veins under the riverbed. Normal gravel, dirt and will spawn more often than gold gravel under the riverbed. And, gold gravel and normal gravel are very hard to distinguish with each other because of the very small differences. So if you want to get gold nuggets under the riverbed, shovel every gravel you see. There would be approximately 6-10 blocks of gold gravel that will spawn on the riverbed at every river.

The Gold ores under the river biome will spawn in 4-8 blocks (like normal gold ore generation) ON EVERY VAIN. Gold gravel WILL NOT spawn in other biomes naturally except in riverbeds.

Considering that river biomes are going to be a gold farm for players, river biomes will now be 1.5x rarer. (CrazyChippy's suggestion)

    Edit:

When you use a Fortune shovel on a 'gold gravel':
For the gold gravel, level I gives a 33% chance to multiply the nuggets by 2 (averaging 33% increase), level II gives a chance to multiply the nuggets by 2 or 3 (25% chance each, averaging 75% increase), and level III gives a chance to multiply the nuggets by 2, 3, or 4 (20% chance each, averaging 120% increase). Same as when you use a Fortune pickaxe on a gold ore.

As always, I'm open to suggestions (postive or negative), discussions and criticisms. Also looking for textures who can make the gold gravel texture.

    Exactly

He also said "1-3 stacks of"

    therefore

"1-3 stacks of a single wither skull"

    That makes no sense

And even just a single wither skull is OP.

A single wither skull is OP? These 'cobble villages' spawn twice in a world and you have 2.4% chance of getting it. Even if you do get two, a wither boss needs 3 skulls and you need one more from killing an uncommon wither skelly. So I can't see why that is 'OP'.

So in conclusion, this takes strongholds, the places that are meant to seem abandoned, and adds elves. It also allows you to get

And may I remind you a STACK of apples, cobblestone, iron, redstone, emeralds, and wither skulls is 64.

Also the wither skull is OP, and this is the easiest chest to find, too!

Also the boss in the stronghold is stronger than the boss you are trying to get to if you're looking for strongholds.

Also I said also too many times.

    Also No Support.

Read it again. He said 'a single wither skull'. Can't see anything wrong with that.

posted a message on Cobble Elves, a New Type of Mob (And It's own Type of Village)

So these are better villagers and villages.. Mhmm.. Lemme think.. I think it has a good concept.. Although I think the chief is too OP. It has a higher health than the wither boss or/and the ender dragon. And it has lots of abilities and spawnings. Come on, he has an enchanted diamond sword and bow?

I also can't get the logic that when it drops the uncraftable cobblestone chestpiece, is that it has a higher armor point than a diamond chestplate. Stone pickaxes can't even break a diamond ore/block. So I still can't get the logic. Well, it actually would be better if it would have the same armor point as a chain/iron armor and maybe add a special ability to it like faster mining or speed, etc.

posted a message on New username ideas?

I won't be like 90% of the people who will post this in the Suggestions forum. Anyways, I'm planning to change my username. My current Minecraft username is LeotheLegendMC. I'd like to change it to a better-sounding username that doesn't sound childish. Any suggestions?

It is not a 100% chance. If the arrow is within 5 blocks of the target, then it will stop homing and continue in its direction.

The reflective mirror is pretty much a slime block for sideways movement.

Cool. Thought it would be like clorophyte arrows/bullets from Terraria that home on enemies and has a 100% hit chance. Very well balanced I would say.

Oh cool. A weird walking arrow-dispenser miniboss. Creepy how he drops his back story book. And he really doesn't drop anything ender-y or some unique special and USEFUL item/s.its not really worth it to kill this guy just for a special trophy, 10 diamonds and a creepy book

I commend your creativity and cleverness. I like the homing arrows and the reflective glass the most. Just a question, how accurate will the homing arrows be? Especially with the red corundum, is it a 100% chance to hit the player with a red corundum homing arrow? I do not quite understand the reflective mirror. Anyways, very nice concept. posted a message on Leaves can be walked through, but slows movement

Leaves doesn't really slow us down even in real life. Well it will, but not to an extent that it will slow us down like turtles.

Minecraft isn't really meant for realism. So no.

    I like the concept althoouugh..

    Gameplay > Realism

Cobwebs would make sense that it slows players, but leaves? Not so much.

    Little bit vague.

Anyways, I like the concept. Although I personally do not like his second ability to dig a 10x10 crater. That would destroy some player-made structures especially if the player doesn't know that and he/she decides it to spawn near his/her builds. Maybe increase his health to 80 to buff him more. And the Basilisk Fang, is it like a placeable item, like the Ender Dragon Egg? When will it trigger its second form?

The fang works like cactus and will afflict poison 1 to the player as long as in contact.

What does this mean? Is this 'Basilisk Fang' some kind of weapon or an armor/shield?
