About us:
After a rebrand of our server we, from the Obsidian Vale SMP, are looking for new players.
Our server is a community built on friendship and trust. The main focus being our modded Minecraft server but we always come together to hang out in VC and play other games. We've been around for 1 year now, going through some seasons of our packs, and plan to stick around for some more to come.
About the modded server:
Every season has had some different aspect to it, when I make the modpack I tend to focus on what players want, trying my best to deliver the best mods.
We tend to do both Forge and Fabric modpack, but lean more towards Fabric because of performance. In spite of that, the current season we're running is a Forge 1.20.1 modpack, which is slowly coming to an end and we're preparing now a new season towards the end of the month. So, if you want to be there when the new season come out, be sure to apply!
Also, for a little more information, our packs generally are focused on adventure, exploration and building, trying to get a little of RP out of it too, it is not required to RP but you are always welcomed to.

Our server does not require you to be older than 18 to join, but we do require you to be mature.

Our self made modpack is composed of mods like Origins, Simply Swords, Oh The Biomes You'll Go, Dungeons Arise, Better Combat, Villager Overhaul, Trinkets and much more! (Java, Fabric 1.19.4)
We aim for a server focused on light roleplay, exploration, building and socializing.
For now we're 3 friends trying to star this new journey and looking for new people to build our community. Because of that, even though the modpack is already done, our aim is between 10 to 15 players in Discord to actually start the server.
We're open to any type of player and level of experience with the game. Any help with installing the modpack will be provided if needed.

A little about yourself: Just recently have been planning for an upcoming wedding towards the later part of August as well as a baby that is due around the new year. Exciting times and also stressful times as we are both still at home and with the price of life, things aren't super affordable. Haven't sat down and committed myself to any games in years as fishing has been a big past time for me. Now that it is the dog days of summer and trying to save money for future expenses, looking to commiting myself to a community for months if not years to come.

When I logged back into my MCForum account after 3 years, I cringed at my username and made a new one.
One time I got a cursed pumpkin stuck on my head, but since it gave me +20 DEF, I decided to base my whole personality around it.
One time I played on an Origins server where I had permanent feather falling, then proceeded to jump off several cliffs in Vanilla cause it just became a habit.
But on a more serious note.
I haven't played MC in a while. I used to be in an SMP around a year ago and it was really fun, but you know. Life happens and it died. So I thought this would be a fun way to get back to the game. It's way more fun with friends.
