I think zombie villagers, and witches should not despawn. That's what I mean by villager types. They shouldn't despawn because I think there rare enough they could not despawn. Another idea is they would only despawn if you went 1000 blocks away.
It should drop all levels of boots, each having feather falling enchantment. Here is the drop chance (Can only drop 1 pair on death)
Leather - 100%
Iron - 90%
Gold - 75%
Diamond - 35%
Chainmail - 5%
How about they drop a special boot, made from lion paws. They would be called "Lion Boots" They would be enchanted with MAX feather falling, and MAX protection. They would be the color of the lions.
Turtles and Tortoises are DIFFERENT! Turtles are that sea ones with fins, who cannot move good on land. Tortoises don't usally swim, and dont have fins. Get it right.
WHAT? Really, they would have to make a Wii version, because that would be much easier. Each console/computer should stick to 1 controller
