    Out of curiosity, do you plan on retexturing everything in the Aether? Mobs, items, all that jazz? It'd be incredible if you did, as I love your work with the Aether textures as well as Jolicraft itself. :smile.gif: Understandable if you don't, however.

    Aerwhales seem to be a bit of a problem. As I started to fly around a little on my blue Moa (which I had to get by finding an egg in a chest in a bronze dungeon, since none spawn naturally), I noticed that there were tons and tons of Aerwhales. Enough to make my game lag a considerably, compared to usual. I've also had an Aerwhale trapped inside of my house since I finished building it. I came back after exploring and he was in there. I've since taken a huge chunk of out my house, and I can't push him because he's glitched and twitching around, so he won't leave. I wish they were killable.

    As of now, the spawnrates seem to be the only issue with this mod, for me. Apart from that, everything's running incredibly.

    That's another thing. When I installed the Aether, it was the only mod I had running. I decided it'd be safer that way. I then figured that, since there were so few friendly mobs, I'd install SPC to see if I was able to even spawn the friendly mobs. I thought maybe I somehow missed out on their files. But they showed up in the spawn list and were easily spawned, so I'm still at a loss as to what the problem is.

    It could just be me, I'm not sure, but the spawnrate of flying pigs, Aechor plants, the weird sheep, and Moas seem to be incredibly low. I have yet to see a flying pig, Moa, Aechor plant or sheep thing naturally. I can spawn them all in just fine, but I seem to only get the hostile mobs spawning (Zephyrs, swets, those poison Moa things, etc.) All of the Aether mobs show up in the spawn list in single player commands, but none will spawn naturally.

    Is this an issue on my end? I don't think it could be, though I'd re-installed the mod to be sure and that didn't fix it.

    The snow is another thing I'm very iffy about. It just looks odd. Might have to change it.

    And the breaking animation will be changed for sure. Updates will be coming. :smile.gif:

    Thank you! I was thinking about the wooden planks. I'm not entirely fond of them as it is right now, so I may just go ahead and change them once I update a few other textures in the pack. There's some things I want to change and some things I plan to add.

    Alright, I've got pretty much all of the terrain finished. There's a few things in it that are not mine (redstone, pumpkins, cactus, minecart tracks and the breaking animation, which all belong to Ravecat's Wind Waker pack), and I intend on changing them sometime soon, so keep posted.

    I'm also gonna start working on the mobs, items and everything else soon too, so keep watching for updates.

    So far it's just the terrain and the sun/moon in the download file, but you can test them out if you like. The versions available (and working) right now are the 128x and 64x, and here's the links to those.

    Both packs require Xau's HD texture pack patcher.

    Little update, guys. I'm pretty sure I can have at least the terrain.png finished up by tomorrow. So I'll be sure to throw a couple download links up (128x, 64x and 32x), so look out for that.

    I'll get working on the mobs and items at some point in the next week or so. No clue when it'll all be finished but keep an eye out! I'll try to keep you all posted.

    Regarding my opinion on it, I really like it and would definitely use it (if my laptop could handle it); However, only because it looks fantastic in general, not because it was based off of one of my favorite games. If you hadn't told me that it was a paper Mario texture, it would have been a while till I realized what game it was based off.

    I did indeed mention that most of the textures were ripped from Thousand Year Door, as well as Super Paper Mario.

    I'm also glad you like it! Once I have it finished I could try downgrading to 64x, for better performance. I know what you mean by not immediately recognizing it. I kind of realized it didn't scream Paper Mario as soon as you look at it, though it has subtle elements that are unmistakably Paper Mario. It could take some looking around before realizing this, however.

    Hey guys!

    This is my very first shot of making a texture pack. I still have a good amount of work to do, moreso in terms of items than terrain, but I still have a good chunk of the terrain.png to finish.

    But I have a couple preview pictures for you guys to check out, and let me know what you think! Hopefully I'll have the whole thing finished up soon, but who knows.

    (Just about) all of the textures are ripped from either Super Paper Mario or Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door. I haven't seen a Paper Mario texture pack for some reason, outside of the Boggly Woods one, so I wanted to make one.

    Anyway, check it out and give me some feedback! :smile.gif:

    Here's a picture of just general terrain, with the X-naut styled crafting table and a furnace.


    A picture of wooden planks, torches, some glass and wooden doors.


    Double chest, lit furnace beside a default one, crafting table again, smooth stone, some water and ice!


    Boggly Woods style snow biomes! (Got some tweaking to do.)


    And that's it for now. Once I manage to expand my world a little (old one crashed, I was not a happy camper,) I'll have some more texture ingame to show off.

    I'm having the exact same problem. I'm installing everything the way I did for 1.2_02, the AudioMod, Modloader and Spawnlist, and then More Creeps, but it won't work. It gives me a black screen on startup and won't go from there. I log into Minecraft and get a blackscreen when the Mojang logo should be there.
