    Quote from t3acht3ach

It's a nice mod, though its a shame how many mod makers copyright them. It scares people away, from downloading them or even telling of them, especially my friend. It's one of the reasons some people's are open source or just have a friendly message telling them that they should just give credit to them if the ever re-post it, instead of a strict unforgiving message telling them what they can do. Especially if it's at the very beginning. No wonder why it only got about 1350 downloads. It really is a shame, some things about this world.

Oh, and fix that Dropbox link.

You have no idea what you're talking about, bro. The reason I put a copyright on it is so that people can't take my work and make money off of it without my permission. I never said anything about you getting in trouble for simply using it. Many people have reposted my mod before, and I don't care if they do, as long as they aren't making money off of it. How would you feel if you worked hard on something, and people who you weren't even affiliated with use YOUR work to make money? By the way, this is a really old mod, I don't update it anymore. That's why the dropbox link is broken, I don't know why you guys are still bumping up this thread.

Oh and also, I got waaaay more than 1350 downloads, I don't know how you got that idea.

I found out why so many people are getting blackscreens! It has a compatibility issue with OptiFine! In the previous versions, they worked perfectly together. Please fix this compatibility clash, Sean!

EDIT: It seems that they infact still are compatible. This mod just works with the META-INF folder not deleted for some reason :tongue.gif:

Everyone is right, this is nothing but re-skinned glowstone. I would have given him some good feedback if he didn't freak out over simple questions, that too, telling people to "Eat **** And Die". He's the kind of person who makes people my age look bad...

    Quote from duderobot123

As i said before They might not put NPC villages in 1.8 because they kept spawning in weird places.

I've never heard about that, but that doesn't matter. This is a thread for discussing ideas on how the villager NPCs can have smarter AIs.

Sting is right, Survival is staying the same, just with more features to make exploring more rewarding, etc.

Adventure Mode is not going to come out in a while, it hasn't even been started yet, it was just an idea.

posted a message on GUYS! You WILL be able to keep your 1.7 worlds!
Another thing you can do is download MCEdit, select the chunks that contain any work you want to put in a 1.8 map, and import those chunks into a new 1.8 map. So if you have a lot already explored, you can just take the part you want to keep of your map and put it into a 1.8 one.

    Download

Requires Risugami's ModLoader and AudioMod! Download them at his thread:
    http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/75440-v173-risugamis-mods-recipe-book-updated/

    Current Version: V3
    Download!

If you want to see the list of older versions, they're at the bottom of the thread.

    Now, onto the details.

    Features of the spears:
-All spears can be thrown by right clicking
-Each spear has its own sprite
-Spears have a custom sound for when thrown
-Have their own graphic for when thrown
-Spears do not have durability (yet)
    -Lots of fun!

This mod currently has 7 different kinds of spears:
    -Throwing Spear
    -Iron Spear
    -Diamond Spear
    -Explosive Spear
    -Fire Spear
    -Slime Spear
    -Light Spear
    -Lightning Spear

    More spears soon to come!

    Videos:

MegaMinecrafting's video including all spears and nice explanations for them.

    MinecraftModify's video demonstrating the spears.

A video by zcoinz demonstrating the spears (no lightning spear).

A funny Let's Play video including the spears by 8TMILLION. (Includes some profane language for those of you who are sensitive)

Demonstration of spears by H20. (Outdated, does not include new functions of spears or newer spears.)

All spears can be right clicked to thrown. Their damage varies depending on the spear.

    Screenshots and Stuff

This is how to craft the Throwing Spear:

What it looks like when held. Here are the features of the normal throwing spear:

-Can be picked back up after being thrown
-Does 2 hearts of melee damage, 3 hearts when thrown.

    Item ID: 406

Spears can be shot at a mob and unlike an arrow, they bounce back and can be picked back up!

A picture of a spear in the ground

    :tnt: The Iron Spear :GP:

This is how to craft an Iron Spear:

    Features:

-Can be thrown and picked back up
-Does 3 hearts of melee damage, 4 hearts when thrown.

    Item ID: 407

    :smile.gif: The Diamond Spear :tnt:

This is how to craft a Diamond Spear:

    Features:

-Can be thrown and picked back up
-Does 4 hearts of melee damage, 7 hearts when thrown.
    -Very powerful!

    Item ID: 408

    :GP: The Explosive Spear :Coal:

How to craft an Explosive Spear:

Explosive spears are a unique kind of spear and balanced out so they are not over-powered. They require a fair amount of 3 gunpowder to be crafted. They cannot be picked back up when thrown.

Be careful with this! When it is thrown...

It unleashes a deadly blast on contact with a mob or block!
I did the opposite of what I was supposed to do and stood too close to where I was aiming it :Coal:

Poor pig won't ever know what hit him!

    Features:
-Explodes on contact with a block or mob
    -Creates a crater when exploded
-Does the same amount of damage as TNT, depending on the distance between where it exploded and
the mob. Every mob will be killed instantly if it takes a direct hit from one of these.

    Item ID: 409

    :Coal: The Fire Spear :Coal:

How to craft a Fire Spear:

The fire spear has some unique features. I will go over them with screenshots.

What it looks like when held. If a mob is hit with one of these...

It will erupt into flames and burn for quite a while! Poor cow got barbequed!
Be careful though, if a mob is hit by your fire spear, it will break.

When the Fire Spear is thrown, the block it lands on will be light on fire.
If it lands on a flammable block like leaves or wood then

It will begin to burn and...

    FOREST FIRE!!

You cannot recover your Fire Spear once it is thrown.

    Item ID: 410

    :tnt: The Slime Spear :tnt:

How to craft a Slime Spear:

The slime spear is a very useful spear. When thrown, it will bounce six times before it embeds itself into the ground.
It will bounce higher and farther depending on the angle you are looking at when you throw it. It doesn't go very far if you throw it at a low angle. Be careful with this in caves!

Because pictures aren't epic enough to withstand the power of describing this spear, here is a video demonstration:

    Features:
-Bounces 6 times and then stops
-Does 3 hearts of damage(but can hit the mob multiple times)
-Creates slime particles and makes slime sounds when thrown.

    Item ID: 412

    :GP: The Light Spear :GP:

How to craft the Light Spear:

A pretty simple spear. When thrown, it plants a torch where it lands and returns a normal spear as shown below.

    Item ID: 413

    :SSSS: The Lightning Spear :SSSS:

I present to you, the newest addition to my collection of spears, the Lightning Spear!

When thrown, it will cause a bolt of lightning to strike whatever surface or creature it hits!

How to craft the Light Spear:

Some screenies of it put to work:

What the Lightning Spear looks like when held

When thrown, it will shock whatever it lands on with a powerful bolt of lightning!

You can pick it back up as an Iron Spear and recharge it again!

    Features:
-Shocks whatever it lands with lightning
-Can be picked up again as a regular Iron Spear and recharged

    Item ID: 413

Check out this demonstration video I made!

Those are all the spears so far! Remember, if you have an idea, I will really appreciate it if you share it with me :smile.gif:

posted a message on [1.7.3] Visible Damage Mod [Texture Pack Support!] [V2]
I've just finished creating my second mod, the Visible Damage Mod! What this mod does is shows the damage you've inflicted to a mob through its appearance. For example, when a zombie is hurt with minor injuries, a rip in its shirt exposing a scar will become visible. When it gets hurt badly, more scars appear, and when it is near-death, its head will disappear!

For creepers, they will bleed gunpowder when hurt, skeletons will begin to crack, and spiders will get scarred.

Special thanks to AtmomicStryker for helping me with making this work without editting any original class files! Rep him and check out his mods!

Video demonstration(Outdated! Textures are better now! User videos needed :smile.gif: ):

Both download versions require Risugami's ModLoader! Get it at his thread here!

The Vanilla Texture Pack Version is meant to work with only the original Minecraft Textures. Texture Pack Version works with any texture pack, but the zombie can't get beheaded in that version.

    Screenshots

    :Zombie: Zombie :Zombie:

    Hurt Zombie

    Badly hurt Zombie

    Near death Zombie

    :Skeleton: Skeleton :Skeleton:

    Hurt Skeleton

    Badly hurt Skeleton

    Near death Skeleton

    :SSSS: Creeper :SSSS:

Hurt Creeper(Not too visible, I know)

    Badly hurt Creeper

    Near death Creeper

    :Spider: Spider :Spider:

    Hurt Spider

    Badly hurt Spider

Near death Spider(Sorry, couldn't capture all of it, the spider was moving too much)

Currently only affects Zombies, Skeletons, Spiders, and Creepers. Please vote in the poll if you want me to make it work with other mobs.

This does not edit any of the original Minecraft files, so it should be compatible with any ModLoader mod!

    Changelog

    Version 2:
-Fixed bug where zombie pigman's skin is changed to wounded zombie.
-Added compatibility for any texture pack
-Updated skins (creeper's face now becomes ripped and reveals TNT)
-Edited so no original Minecraft files are used

    Known Bugs

When a zombie pigman is hurt, its skin changes to a wounded zombie skin. FIXED!
Zombie pigmen swords are not visible and skeleton bows aren't either.
