The water comes from underground springs, But where does the underground spring get its water from?

Why are we bringing logic and science into the mix? This is Minecraft, where blocks float, you travel to new dimensions, Obsidian (which is actually very glass-like) is almost unbreakable, and green p-things (if you know what I mean) explode on a regular basis!

I don't see any point for desert wells to even exist, really.

They were added by Mojang to add a generated structure to deserts (now, of course, there's the remodled villages and pyramids), but they never actually had a use. It's neat to come across one, though. I don't see any point for desert wells to not exist, really.

I agree. Desert wells are an abomination. They must be destroyed.

This is your quest, Flamma: find and destroy every desert well in your world. When you complete your mission, you may start a new world and continue.

That's only travelling a 60,000,000x60,000,000 area per world (worlds have an invisible border at about 30,000,000 blocks from 0,0), and only, like, 10% of that is desert! Mathimatically, that's only 3600000000000000 blocks of area, and only about 360000000000000 of that's desert! Too small!

I never understood why every biome lacks water except for jungles and deserts.

And Extreme Hills. Like huge, snowless mountains are supposed to have lakes, and NOT the snowy ones where there is a form of water there.

posted a message on Has anyone got the same problem with NPC Villages in Survival Single Player?
    Ideas:

-Just minecart the villagers out to a village/home/building YOU built/are building for them.
-Add more houses or improve the houses.
-Tear down the buildings and the farms.
-Play SMP (most effective method of not being lonely).

I never feel like villages steal my inspiration to build. When I want to build in a village, I build more, bigger, cooler houses.

posted a message on What`s the most dangerous situation you`ve been in and lived?
Knocked a Creeper into cave during night. Creeper exploded. Knowing there was a Spider behind me, walked in to the cave to examine damage. Realised it led into a Ravine, which I hadn't known before. Knew Spider would knock me in. Swung around. Hit Spider. Hitting Spider gave Skeleton I hadn't noticed clear shot for me. Skeleton shot me, knocking me into Ravine while I had no armour whatsoever. Spider's lack of AI told him to hop down Ravine to get to me. Spider hit me in mid-air while I was about to hit lava. Believe it or not, this was a blessing. It pushed me directly into a waterfall, where I floated softly down while Spider burned to death in lava. Survived with half of my health left and a near heart attack.

    Texture pack.
No matter how big I make those words, you'll probably ignore them.

If you like the other vanilla textures, just get a pack that makes Glowstone look better. And Redstone Lamps look awesome IMO, plus you always have Jack-o-Lanterns.

Also, maybe redstone torch + redstone lamp = always on redstone lamp?

Juts put an on-state lever on one side so it powers it. Cheaper than a torch, easier too, just cobblestone on a stick flipped over.
