i can´t load a gun in any plane.. it say "add guns in the crafting table"
how can i add guns and which crafting table?

You're getting the planes from the Creative inventory or something similar. Try crafting them on a plane workbench, and add deployable machine guns when you do.
Hello, everyone. I am attempting to create a vaguely future-themed content pack, which for the moment will add only weapons and parts because I don't have any models to make into vehicles yet. Unfortunately, I am completely incapable of making weapon icons that don't look awful. So, I'm asking the Internet for help. Always a bad sign, but what can you do. I already have the mod files for these weapons, but I need artwork.
I need icons for:
An assault rifle: Kinda generic futuristic assault rifle. It is a projectile weapon, so no weird laser-ends or whatever. Think about the assault rifle from Halo.
A pistol: Also a projectile weapon. Fairly normal.
A sniper rifle: This could be either a projectile or energy weapon, I'm not sure. Again, think about the one in Halo.
A rocket launcher: Also like the one in Halo. It has one barrel, with another bit kinda wrapped around it that holds three more rockets.
A grenade launcher: More or less like the MGLs that are used today.
Possibly more weapons as time goes on, I'm not sure.
The guns should be at least sorta futuristic, which pretty much just means no wood. Other than that you're fine.
If you can create iron sights for these guns too, I'd appreciate it. That's a rather more serious job, so it's not strictly necessary, but it'd be nice.
I feel like I had something else to say, but now I can't remember what it was. I'll be putting this request on a couple other forums too. Anyone who helps will get both my personal thanks (a princely reward, I know, but you deserve it. :-P) and their name listed in the content pack credits, once there's a pack to have credits. PM me if you've got textures, please.

Yes. Find the Flan folder, and look at the folder for the content pack you want. Delete the 'vehicles' and 'guns' folders there, and you should have only the planes.
I have minecraft 1.4.7 now, but if I download the mod which is set for 1.4.6, will it still work? The new update is just a few bug fixes so I don't know.
So the basic flans mod is working but when i put my content folders into the flan folder no items apear in the creative menu in game (im using minecrat 1.4.7, latest forge and yes i extracted the content files)

I mean that the gun doesn't use ammo, you make it in the Gun Box, fire it, and it either becomes used and disappears, or returns a useless empty weapon. ( Like a panzerfaust or one of the old single-use RPGs )

Look at the way crossbows and Nerf Marauders work. There's an option to have the ammunition come as individual shots rather than as a magazine, and it can be loaded into the gun like that. Then when the gun's fired, you see the damage bar decrease as it runs out of ammo, and when it's completely out the bar goes away and the gun reloads however many shots it's got. You can probably make a gun and make ammunition for it, and have it spawn with one shot in the magazine. Then just don't provide any way to obtain reloads, and you've got your useless empty weapon.
The pack is pretty well done. I like that it adds so many guns. The attachments are a bit odd, though. The grenade launchers are great, but none of the scopes actually add a scope to the weapon. In fact, for the AK-74 at least, they remove the sight it already has. Other than that, it's very nice. One of the better guns packs that I've seen.
Each block in minecraft is approx. 1m^3. A stack is comprised of 64 such blocks. Put these into a 4x4x4 cube & you have exactly one stack in a giant cube. This cube would measure 4mx4mx4m, and this translates to 13'4"x13'x4"x13'4". Make sense?

Yes, it should. The vMC weapons, like the iron swords, are taken from the vMC texture sheet, so a texture pack would change them. The M&B weapons come from their own sheet of course, but it would be pretty easy to change it to make the weapons fit with a given texture pack.
I am not familiar with TMI aside from name and function. From a guess, it is that anything using a custom recipe manager will not show up unless someone writes a plugin for it.
In theory at least, TMI will show any item in the game, regardless of how it's crafted or whatever. I haven't tried it recently, but as of a few weeks ago I think TMI showed everything. If it doesn't, you can use it to switch to Creative mode, and the items will show up there for sure.
This mod looks frigin BA but I can never get forge to work :/ Stupid forge ruins everything.. I know nothing of Modding n stuff so for all I know this could be a really stupid question but is there anyway you could get it to work with Modloader instead? Just curious. I really wanna install this mod and if not could you make a video on how to install forge and MAYBE install the mod? Because its harder to tell someone how to do something rather then showing.
Forge and Modloader are very different. Forge has recently essentially pirated all of Modloader's functionality, but it does lots of other things too that are unrelated. My understanding is that it's extremely difficult to switch. It would be like programming the entire mod again, except with less help. But Forge is ridiculously easy to install. You just open minecraft.jar and copy/paste the Forge files into it. A video would be maybe 30 seconds long, because there's only one step. And then you just drag this mod into the 'mods' folder.
