My network is currently looking to build a new PvP map. We have one builder already, but some more builders can really speed up the process and potentially make the quality a lot better.
If you would like to help us build, please just reply to this post with:
- Timezone (GMT, UTC ect)
- Times normally available to build
- Able to use Curse Voice/Skype
- Images of builds
Info about our network:
We are a mini-game network for Minecraft Pocket Edition. We normally have 60 players online (we only have 60 slots) and we are looking to expand really soon. Before we can expand, we need to refresh the server so we are building new maps and programming new plugins.
Once a map is finished, we use some software to convert the maps from Anvil format to McRegion format for performance. This means you do NOT have to build on a mobile device, you can just build on a normal PC edition Minecraft.
All builders that actually help will receive some rewards on the server (like a VIP+ rank, coins, cool prefix whatever) and some recognition, possibly money in the future.
European are so lucky with your fast internet and such.
This cost me 100 US dollars a month AKA 75 euro's It's the fastest they offer to residents in my area. Business's can get up to 100 with 50 upload for an outrages price.
32 GB memory was a pointless waste of money to be perfectly honest. Personally I would've saved the money and either built a PC or bought a prebuilt. If you've already purchased this stuff then I guess there isn't much you can do. There's no point in us predicting your FPS, you'll just have to wait and see.
Macs arent made to be upgraded and what if the macs mobo only supports upto 16GB RAM?
you would be better off just building a custom PC instead of buying another $1000 piece of crap
The Mac does support 32GB ram. I upgraded it today.
And why did you add "you would be better off just building a custom PC instead of buying another $1000 piece of crap"?
I'm not buying another "$100à piece of crap". I just spent $700 on upgrades.
I play on my dads iMac allot as he doesn't really use it that much, and my brother has recently got into X-Plane (plane simulator) which only runs at 20FPS at full screen, which is not very good.
So, my dad has bought a new graphics card and some RAM.
Here are the specs of the iMac at the moment:
Processor: Quad Core 2.93 GHz Intel Core i7
RAM: 8GB
Graphics card: ATI Radeon HD 5750 with 1GB of GDDR5 memory
Screen/monitor: 27 inch
From: mid 2010
It runs Minecraft at around 70 FPS at the moment with loading 8 chunks and max graphics settings.
So, my dad has just bought a AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2GB GDDR5 which is going to replace the ATI Radeon HD 5750, and he also bought 32GB ram.
I know the processor isn't very good at all, but how many frames do you guys estimate at max graphics? Do you think I will be able to record with 40-60 FPS with Fraps on Bootcamp with Windows 7?
Contacting Mojang asking for support, and I don't know if the Xperia Play will be able to handle MCPE much longer. The phone is almost 4 years old now and only have 512MB ram.

Hi,
I am looking for an experienced animated graphics designer, specifically for my server banner.
I am also willing to pay via PayPal.
If you are interested, just post some examples down below and I will get in touch with you.
(I am looking for something that is as good as this)
Best regards,
Lambo
