Is it possible to install mods here???

Can I use it in 1.7.5???

I tried launching MineCraft (1.6, .7, Forge 1.6.4) but it keeps giving me this error:


I anyone knows the solution, please help!!!

Okay! The pictures are working now. Though I would change the village buildings a bit... It seems repetitive.

Ice Spikes/Ice Plains: Igloos
Roofed Forest: Hollowed out tree
Mushroom Island: Smurf-styled Mushroom huts

Not gonna stop me from downloading it though (not now, I'm at school, do it at weekend)!

Yes, flowers give novelty to the game, but mods give more of that, and Mojang goes out of their way to make creating them as hard as possible, because every small update require remaking of all mods and break the world with new generation algorithms.

If the game would be easy to mod, then there are only 2 possibilities:
1. No large base code rewrites
2. Rarely updating

Now, we can't have that now, can we?

Plus, you can always re-use an older mod version and fix anything that goes wrong unless it's a HUGE update like 1.7.

Does the CLC work with other mods? If so, are any specific mods VERY compatible or COMPLETELY NOT compatible?

If you would like to try to take Mojang's place, then fine. Mod the whole game and add those "necessary features" that you REALLY want. Then see what happens. You wouldn't be so cocky, would you?
Try putting yourselves in their shoes. If you just say they're lazy without ANY proof, then I say you're LAZIER for not taking the time to see the progress Mojang is making. Also, Master_Hill_ is right.
Small updates make a game interesting. New flowers and biomes make it interesting to explore the world; New stone makes building more fun and gives more variety.
Try playing games that rarely update. I bet you'd be playing for awhile, trying out tons of new features, sure. But afterwards, you'd be spending MONTHS away from that game, waiting for the next big update. Next time, think before you say anything bad about ANYONE.
