Oct 24, 2012Iram laughed, "It's okay! You two act just like my friend Mari." He pointed up to a tree which a girl falls from seconds later. She dusted herself off and ran to him. "You blew my cover!" she grunted and turned to the two hiding in a bush. "...Iram-who-are-these-people-oh-my-gosh-"Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
Marianne screams "Not more people!" and falls to the floor when Mika speaks.
Oct 24, 2012Marianne looked up as she as she entered the park. "Iram..." she whispered "...there are a ton of Tulpas here!" He nodded, and Marianne darted to a tree and climbed it's trunk as quickly and stealthily as she could. Iram continued skipping down the path, and noticed a girl yelling at her Tulpa and trying to hide. "Hey!" He waved cheerily, "What's up?"Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
Oct 24, 2012"Wake up already! You're late for school!" Iram screamed into Marianne's ear. She bolted up from her bed and begun dressing frantically in her usual black jeans and hoodie. Pausing to check the calender, Marianne frowned. "I don't have school today..." she sighed as her Tulpa stuck his tongue out.Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
"Well then, since you're dressed, I suppose you'll just have to take me to the park!" he smiled. Mari groaned. Minutes later, they were both outside. Marianne had her hood up and looked to the ground as she walked, while Iram marched happily besides her.
Oct 24, 2012Name: Marianne Kira (Prefers to be called Mari/Mary)Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
Personality: Marianne is quiet and somewhat over-observant of her surroundings. She watches peoples from the shadows and judges them rather than talking to them first, building her opinion on them and then going to talk. She has awful social skills, sadly, and can't talk to other people well.
Tulpa Personality: Marianne designed her Tulpa, Iram, to be a near exact opposite of her. Iram is always blunt and to-the-point with whatever he says or does. He doesn't waste time with plans, choosing to make things up as he goes.
Appearance:Tulpa Appearance: See Marianne's appearance (her Tulpa is the boy she's hugging)
Bio: Marianne was raised by her mother (her father was in the army) and most of the time was left unsupervised to do as she pleased. She got good grades and didn't do anything bad, always remaining an exemplary student in school. Marianne was browsing random websites when she discovered the whole "Tulpa" thing. Immediately she thought of it as fake, but decided to create one anyways as a self-analysis of her conscience, to create a Tulpa as a near exact opposite as her (excluding the abilities and weapons, designed those more for herself). It took her a day to create the Tulpa, and once she was done Marianne fainted and was unconscious for two days because of all the energy it took her. Imar has tried to convince Marianne to create a wonderland, but Mari doesn't believe she's strong enough to.
Shift- The ability to shapeshift into any animal for several minutes. Meditation is required before use, and the longer the time spent meditating the larger the animal (so turning into a rat would only take around a minute but turning into something like a raven would take half an hour).
Hide-Makes Iram fully blend in with shadows, but can't attack while hidden or speak.
Acid breath- Deadly toxin spews out of her Tulpa's mouth - has a slight chance of knocking the enemy unconscious instead of hurting it
Tulpa Weapons: Darts laced with poison or sleeping dust, a bow and arrows.
Other: Aren't we all just livin' in our own little wonderlands?

ALSO I'm am very confused, while reading the lore I noticed that someone mentioned the Dwarves finding the "motherlode of diamonds"??? Are we using diamonds or was that just an error
Read Old Year 50, when the god's restart the world. "To prevent this land from being torn apart like the other one was, they removed diamonds from naturally occurring in the earth, and kept a watchful eye on the dwarves’ knowledge of redstone."
Also, dang, I wanted the 1000th post! Heh, better luck next time I guess, lol.

With that said, please continue discussing strategies while I am certainly not writing them down for future exploitation. I personally think Bandits should have the single strategy: "Be awesome!" until something happens. Being awesome should, in my honest opinion, always be the first thing on any to-do list.Quote from Napoleon Bonaparte »

Also on Bandits, is it possible for ships to fly using the "Movecraft" mod? It doesn't require people to download anything, I believe. I've seen some servers entirely based on just the flying-ship aspect of the mod. (you can only fly with wood and have to get an appropriate balance of wool, though). If it's not going to be used, how do rebels get around? Is it just by warping to copy/pasted versions of the ship(s) that are added with something like WorldEdit when needed?

basicly, for what i said to happen, they need to make books placable
I dunno if they can do that though. The notice board could just have a bookshelf where couriers could place books (if bookworm was used). I don't know how coding works with minecraft, but your suggestions sound like they would require entirely new blocks to be added to the game? We don't want to work these guys too hard.
Your paper idea sounds pretty cool though, but I think paper would need a limited character count so people don't just use it as a cheaper alternative to books all the time.
Oh, just got an idea! If it isn't being seen in dungeons or anything, retextured redstone and placed string could be used for the paper and books thing, maybe! You'd have to click on them to read the text or something though.

maybe so the messangers dont have to remember a big long messange for their king, u could have the messages put in books, and have each town have a "notice board" where the books can be placed, of course a plugin will have to be made so u can place written books
I've played on a couple servers that used the "Bookworm" plugin that I think is for Bukkit? It was before write-able books so I'm not sure if it still works or anything, but if I remember right, it allowed you to write books using commands in chat and you could place books in bookshelves by right-clicking.
I can't wait until this server opens eventually, it's going to be so amazing!
