Lunia looked at the building in front of her. She'd investigated it a bit yesterday after walking over to it. There was an shadowy alley nearby that she could use to shadow walk into the building, with any hope. Walking into a new location was rather finicky for her - she was certain she'd enter the building, but didn't know exactly where she'd be. With any hope there wouldn't be any other looters in there today, it'd be easier to scavenge a bit and go, fighting would just wear her out.
Lunia walked into the alley, and let herself be absorbed by the darkness, the cool blackness absorbing her as she closed her eyes. After a few steps she opened her eyes again and looked around. Mops and cleaning fluids... Supply closet. Great. She felt for the door handle and turned it, finding it to luckily be unlocked. As she pushed the door opened it creaked loudly. Well, if there's anyone else here, they know I'm here now. Lunia tiptoed down the hallway, looking around for others, and for things to loot.

Lunia strolled out of a shadow, checking her watch. The old piece of trash was entirely mechanical and barely functioned in the dark, but it was better than a watch that gave away her location at night. It's 3pm, I think... Or perhaps noon. Her crimes Sunday had been rather mediocre - the few coins she'd pickpocketed quietly rattled in her pocket. She knew the area she was in now, in the very least - Ciseran Street. The old tech building here might still have a few scraps of metal I could pawn off. She nonchalantly crossed the street, wondering how she'd enter the building. Front door is too obvious, especially at this time of day. Perhaps in a few hours, when it's darker...

A black hooded figure seemingly appeared out of the darkness in an alleyway. The figure, Lunia, yawned to herself. The owners of the house she'd slept in the night before came back from a party much earlier than she'd expected them to, leaving her groggy and with just barely enough time to slip into the shadows before they went into their bedroom. Lunia rubbed her eyes and looked out from the alley into the street. Hmm... doesn't seem to be my usual area, but it'll do. She took a step back into the alleyway, looking out at the street, watching the people passing by. Hmm.. Who will be buying me my morning coffee today? Decisions, decisions...

Name: Madison Steele (Currently refers to herself as Lunia)
Personality: Lunia hates working with others, and when she does do so she won't hesitate if given the chance to kill them. That being said, she obviously loves to be alone and work alone, but isn't shy to conversation. She is incredibly comfortable with lying to people, and will often tell them more lies than truth.
Good or Evil?: Evil
Powers? : Lunia has the ability to "shadow walk" which involves her walking into darkness/a large enough shadow, and being able to walk out and appear from a different bit of darkness/shadow. A subset of this power is her ability to walk into a shadow and hide there. She cannot teleport to a different shadow and then hide there - she must walk out of the darkness she teleports to, and then she can disappear/teleport again. If a light is shone on the shadow she'd hidden in she will become visible, and weakened (can't run). Also, she can't do any of this on other people.
Weapons?: A black umbrella with a sword hiding inside the handle, kind of like this.
Bio : Growing up in the slums of Serenadon, Madison learned quick that being a cutthroat, heartless backstabber gets you further in life than teamwork. When she was twelve she truly put this method into practice by smothering her parents in their sleep and starting a life of true independence. It was around this time when she changed her name from Madison to Lunia, as her old name reminded her too much of her parents. Whenever anyone asked about or did an investigation on her parents whereabouts, the questioner would soon be found dead several days later. As they wheren't high standing in society anyways, the case for the disappearance of her parents was eventually closed.
Other: Obviously not going to kill any characters unless given consent by the character's owner and/or DerpyDanny.

Character Name: Kelasa Fyke
Character Description: Kelasa has light blonde hair and sea blue eyes. She commonly wears a dusty blue and grey dress with a belt. She's very pompous and rude, despite coming from a rather uninsping family of farmers - which she'll never admit to. Her excuse for leaving her hometown to look for work is that "no one ever stays rich by spending," however she really just wants to get rich in the first place.
Respond to this IC:
.....the large drunkard pulls out his wine flask from his stained leather belt, putting his other hand on the hilt of his rusty iron longsword. Taking another giant swig, he yells at you again:
"Ya scared, little swamp-rat?! *hic* I'm talkin to YOU! I'll cleave ya right in two if I don't get that coinpurse in my hands!!"
"Swamp rat? How /dare/ you insult a madam like that!" She would throw a coin at the man's eye, partially blinding and stunning him. "I'm afraid even butter would prove too difficult for you to cleave! Ta-ta!" She'd wave, laughing and she ran off into the night.
Feb 28, 2015Vi was strangely comforted in Leon's confusion about him wanting to kill her. That meant he probably wasn't going to kill her, which meant that maybe, just maybe, she'd see the sun rise another day. Leon also asked her about the words, which was comforting, too. It meant that he probably didn't cause them, if he had to ask about it. And if he did cause them, then he probably at least wouldn't terrorize her with it, since he didn't seem to know much about it. Right? "Um, yeah," she said, and added apprehensively, "You didn't cause that to happen, right?" She noticed his flashlight - Vi hadn't taken thought to bring her own. Looking around the office, she found one, and picked it up.Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
Feb 28, 2015Oh no, she hadn't said that out loud, had she? Vi remained in the corner, trying to stay still, but the boy came back and pointed a flashlight at her. She was a lost cause now, no doubt about it, he'd mess with her in one way or another. There was no way this kid would let her see the light of dawn again, no, he was definitely going to turn her over to the bat-creature to try to appease it, or turn her over to the prankers so they'd laugh at her. She was doomed. "P-please don't-" Vi started, but the words "IT'S ME" flashed into her vision, stopping her. Oh no. The boy was probably some evil devil monster who could make words appear in her eyes! That was almost worse than the evil-bat-thing, but at least the boy didn't look scary. The boy pressed pressed a button, closing one of the doors. Oh no, he was going to gobble her up now! But instead he just checked some things, in a rather un-evil fashion. Hm. And if he was a mysterious boy-devil giving her strange visions, he didn't seem to want to kill her, at least for now. "H-hi, my name is Vi," she attempted to greet the boy, "You... You're not going to kill me, right?" She thought about adding 'or scare me', but figured he probably did, given the words that had appeared in her vision moments ago.Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
Feb 28, 2015Huddled in the corner of the office, Vi watched a boy who looked to be around her age come into the office. He was carrying a plushie with him, which normally would have gotten Vi really excited - she liked stuffed animals - but not even a million cute little animals could even begin to comfort her at that moment. With the way the night had been going so far, the boy could be in cahoots with the other prankers from before.... Or, as she desperately tried not to think, the evil-bat-thing that wanted to gobble her up. No, Vi decided, it was probably safer to remain in this corner for the rest of the night, and never come back once the sun came up. Yeah. It-it was all gonna be okay, right? Come morning, she'd buy new pants and underwear, and a big guard dog, so she would never have to fear that bat-monster. "It'll all be fine..." she said out loud, without realizing it.Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
