Being a small town boy, raised by his hard working father and mother on a farm just outside of Centralia, Christian has dreamed of the action packed life patrolling the streets, busting big drug dealers, murderers, walking away in slow motion from car explosions, and getting to hold a gun. He knew an education and the proper training would be available if moving to the big city was an option. On his 18th birthday his farther had a severe injury to his legs making it impossible for him to walk again. His father slowly was relying completely on Christian to keep the farm running and selling produce to pay the bills. Not long after, Christian crumbled under the pressure losing most the farm and selling the stock to pay off the home bills. One week before Christian's Birthday, he had to run into town to buy food for the month, upon returning home, he found his door kicked in. There lying on the floor was his father bleeding badly from his side. A strange man had kicked in the door and stabbed his father for defending his home. The killer simply wanted pills from Christian's father noticing he was in a wheel chair. His mother was soon found tied up in the tub and blind folded. Christian's mother never got a chance to identify the offender and the case was dropped. After 13 hours in the Hospital, Christian's father passed away from severe damage to the kidneys. Christian wept for days over his loss along with his mother. After receiving mail on his birthday, he noticed a postcard of Sherlock city's near university looking for potential students. This sparked a small fire inside Christian, realizing how short life is, and he can't continue passing life by on his farm. That night, the idea of moving to Sherlock city to his mother and she opposed the idea very rapidly. It was left only to Christian to choose his own fate and leave behind his grieving mother. A month later, after saving up change in his jar, he informed his mother of his plans and told her he has enough chain for a train ride to the nearest station of Sherlock city and it can pay for two. Sadly she declined and knew her boy is a man now. So Christian set off to the morning train the next day, leaving behind his mother but promising a future for himself and to always send money, to write, and visit occasionally. Waving goodbye to his mother as the train blew its whistle for all aboard, he knew this was a whole new beginning only doing what would make his father proud. The fire in Christian's heart grew larger every time the wheels of the large train turned, swearing that no person should be harmed over something never worth the human life. A dedicated, able bodied, willful lad was just what Sherlock needed to secure the city.
