    I have dug deep into these forums and have not found a solution to this problem.


    I have double checked, using the advice of many others, to ensure that I have everything updated properly so I'll go down the list.

    fossilsarcheology-7.3.2.jar (Unmodified)

    llibrary-1.5.1-1.7.10-javadoc

    forge-1.7.10-10.13.4.1558-1.7.10

    Java 8 (Double checked, this is accurate)


    I have my client set up properly as well, as I am able to run roughly 20 other mods including Thaumcraft 4, Witchery and Equivalent Exchange in 1.7.10 without any issues, and yet I receive the following crash report upon startup;


    The game crashed whilst there was a severe problem during mod loading that has caused the game to fail

    I have delved into the mod .jar and found that specific file there, in its proper place, and without spelling errors. Corrupted? I cannot say. Here is my crashlog;

    Give all of your would-be allies some wheat. Better yet, have them spawn from a nexus using wheat. It's likely the closest you're going to get.

    Please don't tell me I need to put the manager inside teh mods folder. When I do it tells me the minecraft.jar and the manager pack are duplicates or something. Can't play either way.

    Colored capes to distinguish factions of the same team.
    My capes are all white, from book and paper. Also, you were right in stating that I would miss the different positions they stand in. I can't get them to do anything.

    Also also, I can't get books to work in the Nexus.

    First off, fantastic word for that. Second, no, nobody has suggested it. Thinking on the subject, I don't know if one would be added because all of the information is readily available right here on the forum.

    But yeah, right clicking with an emerald or something in hand might bring up a menu for CS functions and the like. Maybe adding a clay ball to a book would do the same. The latter makes more sense.I am having trouble getting people to join my server, and every guide I've seen on the subject has lead to nothing but failure. I can connect just fine, but no matter the IP I use, no matter how I set the server up or who tries to join, nobody can reach the server.

    Do they need the mod as well?

    Despite all the frustration, I am seriously glad to be able to play 1.4.2 CS before I leave for the Navy. Thanks a bunch for keeping my favorite mod going!

    BTW: Don't ask how, but I threw a bunch of random stuff around (half without looking) and the mod works suddenly for both my client and server. Go figure.
