What does it do? Stick two blocks together? :smile.gif:

Yessir. It should also fix sticky pistons so that they stick even if its more than 2. It is used by right clicking with slimeballs on the face of the block you want to glue.

I'm thinking of attempting to make it. I know java but I'm not quite sure how to get started with it. I think something with MCP? But it is not updated 1.7.2 yet. Any help would be appreciated.

Glue- Sticking blocks together so multiple blocks could be moved by one piston
Wireless redstones - Basically wireless redstones, redstone would go int he transmitter, and come out the reciever
    Editable signs - Self explanatory

Thank you. Like he said. Right click sign while its placed to edit it, right click a block face with a slimeball to put glue on that face. Any blocks glued together will move as one or not at all. Transmitters/Receivers: enter a code upon creation. When a transmitter is powered, all receivers with the same code will power redstone things around them. Receivers can be glued to pistons/doors/tnt/etc so they will move with them (its not a whole block just a small thing like a diode but even smaller). OR even better if a receiver is combined with one of those objects then it will have an internal receiver. Then you could make piston robots and it would make everything with redstone SOOO much easier. Also i want to see Elemora(?) forget the name mods that add compact redstone logic gates, timers, etc.

I DO NOT LIKE ANY OF THESE THOUGH YOU COULD MAKE IMPROVEMENTS ON THE CANNON BLOCK BY SAY, making the dispense shoot a tnt substitute, like a cannon ball.. i guess in my traps i have foun the arrows to be a bit low for damage, though the rapid fire thing you can do does help a bit with that..

Cannonballs are a good idea. But I hate the rapid fire bow thing. It's just silly.

I personally love these ideas. However, i expect lots of people would rage about them not fitting theme etc. I'm thinking minecraft should become like this modular thing where you start with the most basic content possible and then you can check in things that you want in the settings section or something. Or just make this a mod.

    1. Glue

I know it has been suggested before. It is what everyone thought of when they saw sticky pistons. It would increase the usefulness by a lot. The way it works is you right click the part of the block you want to glue with a slimeball and then when another block is touching that part those two blocks will move as one. Each block glued to one that a piston is pushing contributes to the push limit but synchronized pistons pushing the same mass of glued blocks will rais the limit for each piston.

    2. Redstone Transmitter/Receiver

When created, you enter in a code for each one. Matching codes will be synchronized. For example, If transmitter with code A is powered then reciever with code A will power redstone around it. Receivers can be glued to pistons/doors/tnt and will power those objects when glued to them and recieving power. When a piston moves a block with a receiver or transmitter glued on to it then the transmitter/reciever will move with that block. Transmitters can be glued to blocks with input devices on them and will recieve input from those devices. A receiver can be combined with a piston to make a piston with an internal receiver. This is used so the receiver does not take up an extra block. This would make hiding wiring and complicated piston machines SO much easier. You could even make fully function piston robots that can be controlled from a command center. Transmitters/Receivers should definitely cost a lot. Probably making use of gold/diamond to make.

    3. Cannon Block Thing

Will shoot whatever you load it with. When shooting TNT the TNT will be activated. Most things will come out like they would of a high-powered dispenser block. The difference in the cannon block is it can be aimed on not just 90 degree angles. Will shoot when powered but has to be aimed manually.

    4. Make Bows Fun

Hold down LMB to draw back the arrow. This adds power to the shot while slow and then rapidly decreasing accuracy. This would make it way more satisfying then holding LMB like a machine gun.

Do you mean vertically? cause I have a video for that, its about half way through where I explain how it works

If you mean the pistons are facing upwards then sorry I'm not sure

Thank you. That whole repeater holding the charge comes in handy.

    Adventure MODE sounds disgusting.
Call me out as you will, it's simply never going to happen.
Doesn't fit Minecraft's genre at all.
The ONLY two modes, EVER, will be Creative and Survival.
If Adventure Mode was ever released, we'd pay seperately for it.
    -Sabinno-

Not trying to be immature/flame whatever u wanna call it... But how are you so dumb? You keep denying things that Notch has confirmed. Adventure Mode = Minecraft where you can't place/destroy blocks except maybe in certain areas. This is for people to make levels and other people to download and play them. I don't think it really has much to do with RPG aspects (which i do not think would be bad for minecraft. My server is an RPG type thing. But it should definitely be seperate from survival)

    Suggestion #1

    Slimeballs = glue

This can be used to glue any blocks together by right clicking with the slimeball on the face you want to glue. All blocks that are glued will be moved by pistons as one entity. Limit of blocks that can be glued = the limit of blocks that can be moved by pistons. Sand/Gravel that is glued together will fall as one entity.

    Suggestion #2

    Redstone flow inverter

Right now to invert redstone flow you have to make a sort of bulky circuit thing. With the flow inverter, simply place it along your line of redstone and from that point on, redstone will behave in different ways.
    Settings:
Default: all flow emits from source powers on A->B->C powers off A->B->C
Retractig: Flow emits from source but retracts from the end. A->B->C C->B->A

This is definitely something I could live without since you can already do it.

    Suggestion #3

    More interesting drops

Why not have creatures have a small chance of dropping something you actually want. I'm looking at you zombies and ghasts. Also zombie pigmen could have a chance of dropping a gold sword, and skeles could drop a bow.

    Suggestion #4

    EDITABLE SIGNS

    nuff said

    Suggestion #5

Maybe Simple Physics (see Ace of Spades (game))

When things are completely detached from other blocks they fall.

    Suggestion #6

    Coded Redstone Transmitter/Receiver

Create a transmitter numbered one. When that transmitter gets power, then a receiver with code one will also get power.

    Suggestion #7

    Remove herobrine

    Suggestion #8

    Fluids move through doors/ladders/signs/trapdoors

However there should also be a block that players/mobs can move through but water cannot

    Suggestion #9

    Station Rail

Unpowered it stops the cart, powered it shoots it in the opposite direction it entered.

    Suggestion #10

    Make bows more fun

Instead of being a machine gun of arrows, increase damage and make the player hold LMB to draw back the arrow and then release. Damage increases for the distance you draw but accuracy decreases.

posted a message on Single Pulse on power off
I need a way to make it so when a switch is turned off, it emits a single pulse of power before going off again. This is for use with an hidden staircase which involves 2 sticky pistons and a stair peice attached to one another. When working with this, the switch is connected to a current direction changer (Redstone goes (on)A->B then (off) B->A). The A is the bottom piston and the B is the top one. The problem is this: when retracting, a sticky piston cant pull 2 blocks, even when they should be stuck together. However, if when the switch turns off a single pulse is given to piston B after it has been pulled down, it will reach up and grab the stair and they will be in a neat stack. I probably explained that really badly.

    Horizontally:
Where :Green: = piston, :Green: :Yellow: = extended piston and :White: = stairs
    :opblock: = blank
    :Green: :Green: :White:

    :Green: :Yellow: :Green: :Yellow: :White:

    :Green: :Green: :opblock: :White:
