I agree on the point that it needs to be more blocky and pixely like before. Coz it's minecraft and because of that it must not be FPS (guns dun dun), RPG, RTS, it has it's own category From my point of view it need more ores, features on old content (like mob armor, dying), more achievements, nether terrain or adding structures (not the end of the list) and I think the last snapshots is on track and it has the old wow effect when you download it, but it's kind of modern
The potions and enchantments do put emphasis on the RPG element, but minecraft need that element to be more attractive to those who mostly prefer running, killing, playing a role in the big adventure. Which is also the reason more and more adventure custom maps and imaginary paths and roles are being invented.

No one can tell you what can or can not do, with no rules to follow, this adventure it's up to you.
Basically the game offers limitless possibilities and you can do or refuse to do anything you like.
That why it was and it's awesome now, and it will be as long as the new stuff don't destroy the old ones and it keeps that blocky and pixely charm.
Never! I have learned that the more I cheat in game the less I like it. Also it teaches you to be more careful and organized. It doesn't matter if I die, when I don't walk around with all valuables and I can learn from the actions that led to that.
I do use mods that add new features, adventure mods, entity mods, industrial mods... too many to list, but on fresh new worlds for testing. Always wanna try new things.
