I go to Rancor's daily and it's a pretty well organized server, good people and good times are held here. The staff are well behaved and handle situations like they should, most players here are mature and respect other peoples stuff hell even during mining in groups people learned to share and actually work together! Something very rare in servers, and the teamspeak gives us a much faster and better way to communicate quickly and swiftly.
I do recommend people to join us and join us in Teamspeak as-well and just chill out and have some fun, build some stuff and respect others and i think you'll get along just fine. Just respect the signs.
Make sure you're logged in? Alot of people don't realize they are not logged in.
If you still have problems then just twitter notch and he might reply, we've had a few glitches to where premium accounts go haywire and revert and notch usually fixes up pretty good.
Theres a program given by windows that revokes programs if all else fails i forgot what it's called...
Windows cleanup something.. I can't remember but it wiped any trace of a program ever to exist if everything else failed, i used it when MSN failed to reinstall/install.
A. Your sound drivers are corrupt in a manner to where minecraft crashes it.
B. Java itself may be corrupt, reinstall?
C. You lack the necessary memory (RAM.) to launch sound. This is a possibility as i've had the same issue.
If you feel like risking your inventory follow these instructions.
Do NOT overwrite the slot where your save was/is. Go into your worlds folder and copy another world that you don't need/use and take the level.dat from that and place it into the world you want back. Load up minecraft and you 'might' spawn somewhere else with a different inventory.
As far as i know, you need to use the internal link to connect to a creative. Theres also a link at the bottom when you connect to a server locally that might help.

If you're running the original software anyways. Control Panel>Scheduled Tasks>Add Scheduled Task.
Find batch file.
Perform this task when the computer starts or when you log on, your choice.
Ignore username/password
Finish.
A winner is you.
