    So yes you still need it. And it works fine on 1.4.6, by virtue of the very nature of its design.
    I don't know what that other update thread is about, the old mod works flawlessly on 1.4.6 even though it was created during 1.2.5/whatever.

    Incase my intent wasn't clear in the first place: The definition you're talking about relates to a specific version of minecraft. Use that versions jar if you want to play that 'definition'/version of the game.

    Huh?? I mean use an old minecraft.jar. It doesn't disqualify you at all. You can still go use the new 'definitions'/versions. With all of their fixes, FEATURES, and so on.

    The part where I said "I disagree" means that is an opinion. Food, specifically food: something that is defined and designed to give you nutrition, making you heal instantly, is pretty unrealistic.
    A magical potion designed to give you instant healing ability is another matter entirely. (And, yes, IS realistic because if it existed in reality with that definition [which it probably will in the future :> nanobots perhaps?] then it would be the same.)

    He just wants the option to turn it off and on, not remove it. I've started on about3 good seeds now with NO animals about the spawn. I got a village next to me at one point, but no animals. and I feel like I'm cheating when I go half a day from spawn/house, to find an animal on my first day then find out it's night time, so I have to use peaceful just to go back with the food. So I end up deleting the world. I think we should be able to.

    A wiser man would have mined out some cobble, cut some tress, and cooked the food there. :iapprove:


    Ontopic: I understand what he's asking but I and most others on 'this side' are saying it's unnecessary, lame, and potentially paving the way for others to bring up stupid ideas for features being toggle-able.
    Oh, and the part where IT'S ALREADY IMPLEMENTED. IT'S CALLED PEACEFUL MODE.
    (And easy/normal you can't even starve to death in. Only hard kills you.)
