Hi! I have a village I wish to protect from hostile mobs, so I've set up some repeating Command blocks to eliminate (tp to void) Spiders, Skeletons, Zombies, Creepers, Witches, and Endermen.
/tp @e[type=Zombie,r=90] ~ ~-600 ~
It eliminates all the correct entities except for the Zombie Villagers, which, after doing some googling I figured out I could possibly target by tagging them, and then tp'ing them that way. Yes, I now realize it's a bit redundant, but I thought they weren't being targeted because IsVillager:1b made them "special". Anyway I had used this. Again I realize it's redundant but just for information sake:
I'm happy to announce that Alz454, the original author of Enhanced Portals, has returned and can offer much more attention to this great mod than I could. Sorry to yo-yo you all, but please address anything related to EP to the old post here!
Thanks, someone's requested AE2 schematic support, but I'm having problems implementing it for multiblocks. Hopefully other mods either use the AE2 API for it or have their own.
Order upgraded harvest golems are terribly bad about dealing with mixed crops in any kind of proximity. After having my mana beans mixed up, I moved them further and further apart, and increased the wall thickness between them. after I got to about 6-7 blocks away it stopped happening. Somehow the harvest golems can detect dropped seeds huge distances, assume they came from what they just harvested (instead of the seed at their feet) and then magically pull it over and plant it.
So I have about 8 mana bean farms (5x5 blocks in area each, set up like a square, 4 on the bottom & 4 on top) for the more expensive to obtain, but still used essentia. They're all enclosed, but I've noticed recently that some chambers somehow get contaminated by other beans from another chamber. For example, in one chamber I have Aurum, and then 5 blocks away I have Sano. I've come back twice now to find some Aurum beans growing in my Sano chambers. There is a harvest golem in each, a lamp of growth and a transfer node from Extra Utilities to grab the beans and that's all that interact with the chambers.
I'm having difficulties getting the portals working. I was following step by step along with a mod reviewer when I ran into a snag. I didn't have Thermal Expansion. I tried to add it and it crashed my test server. So I went into the Enhanced Portals config file and changed to false the setting for power requirements. I went back into the game but the portals claim they don't have enough power.
Anyone know how to fix this behavior?
Hi hraf, what is the version of forge & EP3 that you're running?
(When u don't get spoilered , dont look into the spoiler)
I killed the Kermasinkult portal but nothing special happend o.O Now i don't know what i should to do xD
How i can get the last researches??
You've unfortunately faced the only boss (haven't come up against the taintacle yet) that doesn't drop the Primordial Pearl. There are 3 other boss types that will spawn in the dungeon randomly, and they drop a special item called a primordial pearl that you can scan and will unlock the other researches.
Enhanced portals 3 packs part of old buildcraft API. Could we get a updated version with the newer setup? The issue came up when I was working on adding in galacticraft. The newer BC has the older API removed if you check the link below you can see the conversation below. I spoke further with the buildcraft dev in IRC and upon removing enchanced portals everythig else works flawlessly.
Looking at the ThermalExpansion recipes that Alz commented out from 1.6.4, it looks like you crafted the Redstone interface block and filled it with destabilized redstone, and the network interface and DBS blocks you crafted and filled with liquid enderium. Unfortunately, the recipes, other than those registered for the TE machines, can't be found in the Github history of the EP files (at least the recipes that MIGHT be the 1.6.4 version look like the current ones
I've always enjoyed that added bit with TE, so I may re-enable them in future versions. I'm also looking at tweaking the power requirements and adding a GUI at the DBS so that you can monitor the portals attached to them.
etho has all ready done it he used pistons to push the slabs and glass to the node but make sure u have 1 less in the middle middle otherwise when the pistons pushes the glass in to the node it will destory it
We've developed an effective 2-person way to seal them without using pistons or the trade foci (or any OP help). It feels pretty warrior-like when you get it down.

Am I missing something, or has something changed in the recent versions (This is in 1.11.2) where Zombie Villagers are no longer type Zombie?
Btw I'm testing this by just walking them/spawning them into the radius. Other mobs simply disappear/tp away.

This will be updated in 3.0.10

Ah I'm so stupid, it's right there in the commented out area of the page I linked... so it looks like you craft the frames like this:
SQS
QMQ
SQS
S = Stone, Q = Nether Quartz, M = Machine Frame
Throw that in a fluid Transposer with some dest. redstone or liquid ender pearls.
_E_
EME
CCC
M = Machine Frame, C = Gold Coil, E = Electrum
Fluid transpose some liquid ender pearls on that and I think you get the DBS blocks.

Hi, can you start off by telling me the version of minecraft, forge, and EP3?
