Well I guess I'm jumping on this automated departure bandwagon as well.

I'll be over at OC and maybe some other forum like SCoM or something too if I decide to PPNS-inate some more.

Even if the rebate does come through, the other memory is $3 more expensive, but is dual-channel, has a higher frequency, and even has better latency.

Ok, I might look into getting that one instead then.

Not when you factor in the mail-in rebate for the Corsair.

You have to pay more up front and there is a good chance you will never get the rebate.

Are rebates really not that reliable?

Particularly when you can get this for less money.

Jesus Christ that memory is expensive for what you get.

    How so?

So after being tired of the barely meh performance of this laptop that I've been using for the past year or so, I've decided to start saving up for my first desktop PC build. I figured I might as well ask you guys about it; perhaps you know where you could save me a couple bucks somewhere without sacrificing performance. Here it is: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Kyte314/saved/bcWfrH

I want to have Windows 8.1 as the OS since that's what I've already gotten used to, but other than that I'm willing to change anything out if there's a good reason why I should.

(It seems the case is out of stock at the moment, but I don't need it (or anything on the list, for that matter) anytime soon, so don't factor that into anything).

I'll be in Orlando for a week, and I'm probably not going to have anything I can use to post here, so...yeah. I'll be Bach next Sunday.

There was once a giant with two massive alpacas that were small in mind of Gandalf who became too drunk and sang hoedowns while strippers danced non-sexually at McDonald's bathroom with two cheese pizzas on toast that didn't take medicine when Richtofen took a lethal arrow in the knee. However, he had knifed Fluttershy, but Takeo blocked Richtofen with an oven the size of a Dragonite with eighteen tentacles, but Richtofen punched Celestia and Luna hard in the leg and face so that they fell into ballpits. Unfortunately, Crowley had two massive melons that had Group935 in Russia. But then Stalin gave him cancer daily so yeah. Deal with poop on your lunch, especially on tuesday, However I am Iron Man, so your hungry parrot is peckish at echidna-puggles. Everyone echidna-puggled their face into oblivion
