I don't really like modded servers because of things like 'punch someone and it doing half their health when in iron armor' happening (and various glitches and oddities).
Pertaining to creative servers, they are usually a gallery, which is okay I guess, and you have pure survival servers which become grief fests very quickly and the whole world becomes a disgusting mess.
If you were to post servers, you should probably post the gallery servers, the rest are kinda crap, unless they had a pvp where you don't lose all your stuff every time you die. :/

Anyone can join, no rules. I just need your gamer tag so I can add you. Server is version 1.12.1.

I've never felt having one life makes the game 'hard'. All it really does is magnify the frustration of glitches because even if you're careful they're the ones that kill you (super twitchy enderman). Sometimes it's just a combination of situations like being stuck outside in the rain in the dark etc.
I guess I'm not against you're idea per se, I'm against hardcore in general. lol

Something that bothered me was when they added all the different underground stone types but they clash with the ore blocks. If they revamped it to where ore would be an overlay of any stone it'd make things like this work better (just like spider eyes).
I think to add to this maybe change the size of caves for some biomes. I think you sort of mentioned this..
Lastly, I've always felt that dungeons spawning in caves was better. That's usually where you find them but I wish all dungeons did, it's just more fun that way (barring the special ones).
I feel terrain in all subsets should have been worked on heavily before they added all the features that they did. I started in Beta 1.7 and the terrain is mostly what drove me to be interested in the rest of the game. The terrain's recovered some since Beta 1.8 but it needs more life like this.

I've always been a fan of runes in games but I feel potions and arrows make them redundant if they're used for combat. I was thinking maybe you could collect different kinds to open portals but we already have that with eyes of ender like you mentioned. Maybe for cursing items, but that also seems useless.

I support, baby zombies are like the only thing that ever kill me.

I haven't played Minecraft in a year or so because it seemed the updates were becoming rare and usually didn't seem worth trying out beyond watching a Youtube about it and dipping my toe into creative to look at new things. I would say what changed my mind was most of the features of the 1.11 updates. They're geared towards aspects of the game I use.
Flying with rockets, HELL YEAH
Voodoo invincibility, HELL YEAH
The other stuff, pretty neat, adds more character to it

I haven't played the new dragon yet but I kind of disliked the knockback+island thing with the dragon, it made it useless to stock up on good armor because you might fall off and lose it all immediately. I do hope they make the dragon overall harder though, I had a game where I went through on hardcore with no armor and it was a cakewalk.

Personally I hate Microsoft, so I know they're going to jack everything up. I hate XBOX and I hate all their new OS's (even though I use them anyways, it can be helpful to have a common OS). Nonetheless, they only make money because they're already big, if they tried all this stupid crap when they were smaller they wouldn't be a company anymore.
LET ME MOD CONSOLE VERSIONS
I HATE YOU MICROSOFT, YOU BUY FREEDOM AND KILL IT!

I'm really waiting until the Mojang team create that modding platform (w/e it's called) so I won't have to update it all the time. I'll have a lot of learning and work to do at that point but if there's enough people who enjoy the mod I'll definitely look forward to continuing it!
Progress seems to be really slow with them lately though, they really like to goof off now and make pointless changes to the game.
Edit: Not gonna lie, I've been lazy. I only know basics like conditionals right now (I made this entire mod from copy, paste, test, comment out and change variable value), but I'm going through Java tutorials and learning how to use forge starting today and I'm going down the path of being legit! I'm not going to wait for the API, that's just idiotic.

You can get cursed? that's kinda cool

lol that's what I did with my texture pack a while ago, then when I went to this update minecraft was double-over colored. Minecraft is always 8 steps behind it's players.
I hope they keep it, I like when they add something I've already added that way when I update to new versions I have to add less, although texture packs work across versions so..
