Each mod release includes the latest version of the manual at that time; thus, the latest version for 1.7.10 should have the same version of the manual as the latest version of 1.8 as they were released at roughly the same time.
There will be at least one more 1.7.10 release that will include the rupees and wallets.
I probably won't be doing any coding over the summer, though, since we had more than 6 months of no sunshine this winter and I'd like to take advantage of it while I can, ya know? Plus the baby and puppy need to get outside and experience the world.

I think there is an option in forestry itself to auto remove bees with "bad" stats, which is what you would have if you remove binnie's mod. look in there.

sheesh, you are full of misinformation. BC is still going. Others have taken it over. There is an unofficial port to 1.8 that will most likely become the official one, or at least the basis for the 1.9 version.

delete your CMS config files if you have used previous versions.
then after you regen the files, check and make sure the following settings are correct:
1. in global make sure the setting for doMobSpawning is false.
2. in the overworld folder (assuming you don't have BOP), the entity spawn types config file, make sure the spawn limit for creatures isn't set too high, and check water creatures it likes to default to 5 for some reason.
3. in the environment config file in the overworld folder, you can try setting the enforce spawn limits to true if you don't get better results, as well as setting force despawn to true.
please note, the game will not despawn mobs if you lower the limit, you will have to use the /cms killall MOD|Mobname command to forceabley remove mobs.
