Yeah this mod is dead the guy hasnt been online for 9 months! which is sadly really its a great mod. Sad that people who use 1.7.10 miss out on the newer features and fixes.
The latest one from 2016/9/8. dimension ID's 20 21 22 and 23. which is for the dragon block c mod (idk if you heard of it its a mod based on dragon ball) and has 2 dimensions and 2 planets. which is why i wanted this since i thought it would fit well with the server i have with dbc mod.
that isn't the "latest" latest. there is a beta version that radically alters the way you add dimensions.
I've been trying to figure it out for weeks and just give up. if i tell you the dimension ID's can someone send me the config with them added to it to travel to?
It's either "none", "legacySpace", "legacyHyperspace", "normal" or any decimal value between 0 and 1. I'll have to find a better way to formulate that comment.
that statement right there works, "valid keywords are 'none', legacySpace, legacyHyperspace, 'normal' or any value between 0 and 1"
though is there a reason you don't allow higher than normal gravity?
Well I do have to say, I would love to see planet configurations change a bit so that you can modify terrain without making a whole new dimension (unless this has changed, I haven't really been paying attention for a little while). I would also like to see planets have different types of atmospheres (toxic, breathable, thin, etc). I really do wish I could get a server started up with this mod, and I'll probably try. Quick question, can you get the coordinates from ship radar and put it into your laser cannons (if you see where I'm going...)?
right now you can't, that may change later. The config for planets changes in the beta, and you can adjust some of the aspects, though I wish you could make the gravity partial. Right now it is either 0 or 1.
The bug is in OpenOS 1.6. If you install an older OC version, save OpenOS1.5 on a floppy, then reinstall latest OC, you'll be able to install OpenOS1.5 from that golden floppy and no longer need to reboot. Well, that's the theory of the moment on that bug.
The air bar bubble animates whenever your air level changes.
the group are representing the movement types:
"hyperspace_entering", "entering hyperspace"
"hyperspace_exiting" , "exiting hyperspace"
"hyperspace_moving" , "moving in hyperspace"
"planet_landing" , "landing on a planet"
"planet_moving" , "moving on a planet"
"planet_takeoff" , "taking off a planet"
"space_moving" , "moving in space"
"gate_activating" , "activating a jumpgate"
I've already tried that, can't get the warpdrive program to work. will play around with it later
It's an OC bug on 1.6. Some players said they have a patch but never shared it.
What part are you missing in the configuration file?
The breathing alarm appears when you're close to void with an invalid air setup, in case you pass the air lock and forgot to put it back on.
Air blocks should be removed when you're in a breathable planet; so, that's probably a bug I need to look into.
not so much missing as some aren't clear what that setting group is for.
so I guess I'll be getting that alarm in my very small ship all the time then. I could have sworn that the tank was being drained while in the ship, I'll have to double check.
a faster reboot for the computer is to replace the monitor. rebooting the computer isn't quite necessary. haven't tried using a cable between computer and monitor yet.
Default configuration for jump stats is faulty due to recent bug fix that was hiding the issue.
You can adjust maxjumpdistance in the config.yml file manually for now.
Note: the warmup/cooldown are also messed up, in some conditions you've a 24h delay before jump...
yeah, found all that in there. that config file could stand more clear descriptions on what each setting does.
btw, are air generators not working right? I try to remove the air Tank I have on me while on a ship and I get the "out of air" message. also, the ship likes to leak when you break blocks while on a planet, though the generators don't consume power.
Well, I have a little problam going on. My lights don't emit... light :S
I'm using the latest 1.7.10 version (yeah, I know it's not updated anymore) and the recommended forge version (only these two) and it still doesn't show me any of it's light. What could be going on?
Thanks!
nothing is wrong, the lights do not emit light. they are purely decorative and not functional

as long as the file extension is not .jar.xxx it is fine. you can set winrar to open .jar files.
there are two options
either with tags
or with the spoiler button in the tool bar. it is the "!" button between the hyperlink and insert image buttons

lol, forum activity =/= mod author activity.

which version of warpdrive?

that is from the config file. That makes it seem like to me that it is either 0 or 1 or the legacy tags.

are you using the string or the lights you use to make the strings?
0
main way is by mining iron ore. I get enough of it.

ok...why do you have the max jump limit so low? I have a small 10x9x5 ship and it can't jump more than 15x14x10.....that is way too small.
there should be a minimum max jump distance otherwise it is difficult for small ships to go anywhere on a planet
oh...i have encountered the autojump issue...will see if I can reliably reproduce. If I can, I'll post on the github page the details.
