Freaking awesome mod! Unfortunately my computer is broken. Minecraft ignores modloader and crashes when I install forge, otherwise I would play with it.
ok:
first: buildcraft does not go in the coremods folder
second: it looks like the RP2 core module isn't getting loaded right, 2x check that it is in the mods folder, and try getting all the modules from the website again.
third: that MFFS error is minor, it's just saying that it can't get the status from the update website
fourth: there is also an error in the ASM trasnformers mod....I'm not sure what that is or if its critical
fith: you have at least one Item ID conflict
sixth: you have several block ID conflicts
seventh: thermal expansion and railcraft both have updates avail, minor but I do recommend you update them
eighth: miscperiphs 3.1 and on goes in the coremods folder if you want the full range of its abilities
for a fast solution check, grab the config files from the mod pack you pulled these from, that should solve the ID issues and maybe it'll correct the other's as well
These are the mods taken directly out of the files that the FTB launcher downloaded them to. Unless FTB downloaded an old version of forge, or 6.6.2.534 is not the right version, then yes I do.
no...i use that one as well...you did get ALL the RP2 files right? there are 4 files you need.
I'm trying go install Feed The Beast mods for my server because the launcher won't work and I am getting this error. Anyone know how to fix this? If the rest of the error is required I'll post it.
I don't know if this has been said, but I think I've found a bug with the sorting machines. I have a setup with 192 coke ovens from Rail Craft that I'm trying to evenly distribute coal to, but I've found that sometimes the sorting machines will get backstuffed and then never resend the item once the destination becomes avail and even if manually turn the machine around so it dumps the item and reset its position it won't continue it will just stick on the same colored row. this is in the automatic redstone signal mode
also: I'd love a sorting machine that could use the input from bundled cable to tell it to pull an item and send it out painted the color of the input or a retriever that could pull from a chest at a disatance and paint the requested item, along with bundled cable pipes like the redstone pipes, plus mag tube versions of both
EDIT: there is a CC WIP add-on that adds in Colored lights that can change colors by a CC computer, the author is also making pixel panels, (think jumbo-tron) that are computer controlled as well
your forge/FML is not a high enough version
the recommended is NOT good enough for Iron chests...you have to get the latest, switch to that and it should work
Which Mods does this mod requires? Modloader or forge?
I don't think it needs either...Forge doesn't even register it as a mod. (but it does work)
I would highly recommend making it require forge as this may make it a universal mod and not need a diff version for server/client
This is sort of what I am looking for though, but not especially like CubeX's either. I was thinking about a big multiblock "chest" that acts more like a warehouse.
The idea isn't just a big "thing" to store tons of stuff. We don't get huge boxes and throw tons of crap into it in real life, right? When you have a crap of of mp3's, you don't just drop them all into one directory (at least you don't if your library is as big as mine is ). What I want is an organized storage mechanism, one that can hold lots of stuff, but does so in an sensible way.
It would be mighty hard - I'm a dot net coder, not a java guy - but I might have to give a go at doing this myself.
uh. some of us do that IRL.
and if you are good you can create a computer controlled inventory management system, but it requires Computer Craft, misc periphs, and OpenCCSensors.
this mod is totally awesome!
just a few questions:
1. what is the massive tree option in the config file for?
2. can this be put on a server?
3. does this mod work with IC2's rubber tree and generate a huge rubber tree with tap points? (would be TOTALLY awesome if it does)
Since 13w02b has individual textures instead of sprite sheets, why are you still using them? Isn't the mod/plugin api the whole reason they made that change? It also means that texture pack designers can have different resolutions in one texture pack and if they only have a few textures, the rest will be replaced with default.
You can in the snapshot, they added the ability to place any block inside a minecart, unfortunately you can't craft them.
wait what? are you telling me they are trying to add in the ability to add anything to a minecart and retain the use of the item? (minus the furnace cart)

that depends on the distance...use gold pipes and its much faster. I use both RP2 and BC pipes.

they ARE explosion proof
darn thing took a NUKE (IC2) and survived! landscape cratered, but the chest was still there.
and i'd love for you to make chestcart versions...would totally rock.
