Can there be a think called runic geming? Like adding focuses to runic baubles. Like fire would set enemys on fire when breached for a little ignis, shock shocks the enemys whhen breached, ect.

I have trouble whit metal transmutation process. I put 2 gold nugget in the crucible to have two metalum and after that if throw 1 iron nugget as catalyst, the metalum is consumed but i don't get the 3 iron nugget back as the thaumonomicon suggest.
Did i do somthing wrong or is there a little bug??

I like the new thaumcraft 4 nodes and i would like to see them moved to thaumcraft 5 where the auras are entities or whatever. like maybe an essentia sucking node or an opposite of a hungry node that shoots out blocks or crystals depending on the aspects in it but it would be rare and it would puch items and players away

There is one thing i think should be added. The wand focus cable dyer. What it would do is you can change the color of cables with vis. It is and infusion recipe with the wrench focus and the rainbow color matter balls

Also I have seen azanors posts and I have an idea for the wand recharge new aura mechanic. For one you have to kill mobs for "Aura points" If they will still exist, and that would be the only early game way to get essentia but the points would be worth ALOT Less like .1 points, so this will only before a little while until you can learn how to draw aura from the atmosphere. And for the taint thing i propose that if you carry a wand in a taint rich chunk taint can seep into your wand and build up until its full and discharges. the effect is either damage, loss of aspects, or taint build up into the atmosphere. It can also be gained by doing arcane crafting but high tech wands will either lessen this or completely negate it. Oh yeah and the aura system I would like to see if you put aspects into the air different things can happen. Fiery aspects make it rain fire but has a very small chance. Airy or water aspects make it rain up a storm and can place water blocks but mixed with taint can make it rain taint. and the earthy aspects make clusters of falling rocks. And magical aspects make it create wisps

Grrrr I've been at this all day and getting so frustrated. Can someone help?
I have an Alchemical Furnace with 3 alembics on it. Each Alembis has a Filtered Essentia Tube with a label.
The bottom alembis is for the Herba going straight into the piping system, the other 2 are Aqua and Perditio (I am burning Cactus).
I set it up in the order it went the first time I used it, and it worked great - my Lamps of Growth got recharged, and the Aqua and Perditio went into their Void Warded Jars just fine.
But each time I use it now, Herba can end up in the middle or top Alembic and so on....... where am I going wrong?
P.S. I found a dungeon with 2 spawners in it so I turned it into a "mob farm". I think I'll go watch the Skeletons and Zombies drown - it may cheer me up.
The essentia whih goes into the alembics is random. try putting labels on the alembics

I think there should be a strength level of stabilizers like candles would be the weakest beacause they are cheap (But with alot together they work better) Crystals clusters next If it would be mixed it would be even more powerfull (and maybe balanced crystal clusters) and finally skulls.

I don't quit things THAT easily. I've tried entering the world at least a dozen times, and the only thing that changed between when it worked and when it didn't was my Thaumcraft version.
I could switch back to the old TC version and open it that way, but I'm hoping someone can come up with a more permanent solution, like a block I need to remove and then put back under the new version.
I cant offer much help but try to do this. Look at all the items in the newer tfc version you are using or take a snap shot and try to find what items are new that arent in the last one. Other than that I dont know

I have a world that I was running on the last TC version that had block-penetrating vis beams, and when I upgraded to the next TC version that world started booting me back to the title screen when I tried to open it. I didn't mind so much since I had just finished playing that world anyway, but now I want to show it to someone and can't. Anyone have any idea what might be causing the problem?
Did you try entering that world a second time after you tried it the first time? Its something that minecraft does. if it still doesnt work maybe its your mods
