Refer to rule 4 in the original post. They're asking, not begging. :)

I didn't say it was against the rules; I just said I thought it was rude.

Seems someone didn't entirely got the purpose of the thread - it's for GIVING away games, not to ask people for free games you want.

I agree, it's a bit rude to just come ask for games. Maybe offer something first, then ask about something in return.

I've had a few people ask about the Terraria gift code but no one has come through yet, so we'll change things up a bit.

My steam name is [removed] (but my display name in chat is [removed], so I'm honestly not sure which one you're supposed to search for when adding friends). If you add me as a friend and message me asking for Terraria, I will give it to you. First-come, first-serve.

Why are you giving away bundles which were offered on a "pay what you want" basis in the first place? I'm guessing you bought multiple copies for $0.01 or some similarly tiny amount, which is actually a bit of a **** move since you most likely cost them money due to Paypal / transaction fees.

I just wish people would stop exploiting these bundles and embrace the spitrit of it - pay what you feel is worthwhile for the games, don't 'milk' it by paying the minimum amount and trading/gifting them to strangers.

You can't get the whole bundle unless you pay at least the average donation amount (which is usually around five or six dollars).

    Ugh, I hate thread arguments...

I'm gonna say this loud and clear:
Can everyone please stop accusing Homem Pigman and I of arguing?

He's easily one of my three most favorite people on the entire forum, and all we're doing is talking about TES lore. It seems like everyone runs out of the room as soon as we get really focused on one topic, which is a shame. I intentionally add extra facts that I know Homem is already aware of just so that people lurking can read along, and either learn about the topic at hand or maybe hop in and join us.

I'm not saying that it's never become heated, I'm just saying that it's obvious when it does. Not everything we say to each other is some kind of challenge or attack.

    Quote from Homem Pigman

Yeah possible. But I don't know, they really want the Dunmer to suffer after all the racism and slavery. Hopefully the Argonian leaders aren't as dumb as Ulfric Stormcloak.

    Heh.

In my opinion, only the ebony helmet looks good (despite the rest of the ebony armor looking too stretched), especially with Daedric armor.

I have three sets I use on my main character:
1- Daedric armor, dwarven gauntlets, dwarven boots, ebony helmet.
    2- Full guildmaster armor.
    3- Dragonbone with Konahrik mask.

I also always carry a shrouded hood and hand wraps, and enchanted shoes with Muffle and 25% sneak, because actually I'm mostly a thief character. But I think sneak+light armor is too mainstream, so I use heavy.

I like to wear Heavy Armor with a hood. Not because I'm a battlemage or anything (though I do like Conjuration spells) but because I think it provides a nice mix between a warrior and a ranger class. It also lets me show my little kitty face ^-^

I really like the dragon priest masks, but I refuse to wear anything that looks like it's squishing the front of my face back into my head. It's nice that there are no limitations like in Morrowind, but they really should have included a more beast-race-friendly version of some of the helmets.

posted a message on Fallout 4
Here's a FAQ about Fallout 4, taken from the Fallout Wiki.
    What is Fallout 4?
Fallout 4 will be a futuristic post-apocalyptic action-RPG set in an alternate universe based on 50s pulp sci-fi, as if the world had stopped in the optimistic 50s and found itself on a dystopian post-apocalyptic reality. It is a sequel to the games Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout 3.
    Is it in production?
Fallout 4 is speculated to be the game Bethesda has had in pre-production since at least August 2010,[1] now that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has been announced and released.
    But will there be one?
Yes, Bethesda definitely intends to make more than one Fallout. Bethesda's Pete Hines said: "The whole reason we went out and acquired the license and that we now own Fallout is that we clearly intended to make more than one." He also added: "This is not something we're going to do once and then go away and never do it again. When that will be or how long that will be god only knows, but we acquired it specifically because we wanted to own it and develop it and work on it like we do with The Elder Scrolls."
    Will it be a MMORPG?
No, it will be a single-player game, like previous Fallouts. However, Interplay licensed the rights to a Fallout MMORPG from Bethesda in 2007 and is currently developing it under the codename Project V13. Bethesda recently moved to rescind the Fallout MMORPG license, claiming that Interplay is in breach of the licensing agreement. Interplay disputes these claims. As of January, 2012, Bethesda purchased the rights to Fallout from Interplay for 2 million. Interplay may continue selling their numbers in the series until 2013, and may continue production of Fallout Online, but under a different name. Bethesda may or may not produce an official Fallout Online.
Is it the same as Fallout: New Vegas?
No, Fallout: New Vegas is a separate project developed by Obsidian Entertainment.
Who will be making and publishing Fallout 4?
Fallout 4 will be developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks.
What will Fallout 4 be rated?
Fallout 4 has not been announced yet and is likely not even in pre-production, but the developers will likely have an M rating, as with previous Fallout games. This is due to the general mature themes in the Fallout universe, as well as the gore that is so prevalent throughout Fallout.
When is it going to be released?
No development has been announced yet. But most likely around the end of 2012 at the earliest or sometime in 2013.
Is it made by people who made previous Fallouts?
It will be developed by the same team who made Fallout 3, from Bethesda Game Studios. Interplay and Black Isle, the Fallout and Fallout 2 developers, were not involved in the making of Fallout 3 and they're not likely to be involved in the creation of Fallout 4 either, however, Obsidian Entertainment, who made New Vegas, is made up of former Black Isle members and could be again involved in it, though this is only speculation.
    Who is developing Fallout 4?
The exact list of developers is unknown, although they'll likely be mostly the same as the Fallout 3 developers.

You probably shouldn't have installed a new operating system before you were even sure whether you wanted it, nor should you have done it without making a proper backup. I'm going to chalk this one up to user error.

    posted a message on WWIII
I'm betting that this would happen:

"The campaign plays much like Prelude to War with a few additional options. During World War III between battles the player has the option to choose between several battle locations. The battles that the player could have chosen, but did not, will be fought by AI. Also, battles lost or quit by the player cannot be replayed, and the territory is lost, whereas in Prelude to War, the player could retry each battle until he succeeded. The player also has the option to upgrade their chosen battalion with improved attack, defense, mobility, and ability characteristics.

At the conclusion of each campaign battle a summary screen is shown. This screen includes information including number of battalion units promoted, amount of credits (money) received, command rating, medals, mission duration, and a quote by a famous military leader. The player can gain a more in depth understand of the battle summary by viewing the details screens, which provides a breakdown of statistics, ranking, etc...

During the course of the war several background situations arise such as adverse weather conditions like typhoons causing people to become homeless and rescue teams being dispatched. There are also reports of protest against the war from around the world as well as by individual figures such as the Pope. These parts of the story are told via television reports. They also report the sinking of enemy shipping by airstrikes and WMDs. As the war progresses, the leader of an opposing nation survives an assassination attempt, around Turn 15.

When the war has ended, the winning faction takes control of the world and a special scene is shown, which shows the winning faction's flag and troops parading with the voice of the faction's General talking about their victory and what will happen in the future; depending on whether it is United States, Europe or Russia that is the winning side, the cut scene is different due to different speeches by Generals and different reasons for starting the war.

    Sorry, I couldn't resist :P

As promised, I started drawing something. I'm going to share my progress because I'm not sure when I'll have time to finish it; apparently the flu does not wait for a break in my schedule before it sets in. This is a draft of what is to come:

I'd love to add more color and detail to his body in general, and maybe give him more clothes. We'll see.

posted a message on 20th Century kids vs 21 Century kids
So just because these kids have different interests than you do, you think they're worse than you are? These kids are open-minded, but you're apparently a bigot.

Besides, I don't like any of the kinds of music that you said are good, and I was born in 1992. I listened to classic rock when I was little because that's what my parents like, and now I'm a fan of electronic/techno and orchestral music.

Isn't Yu-Gi-Oh still on TV? And other kids' cartoons?

Also, 1996 is pretty late. Sure, you were born in the 90's, but half of your childhood was in the 21st century too. Stop trying to act like such a hipster/elitist and let kids be kids.

P.S. We're born in the same decade, but I consider you to be of a younger generation than I am, considering what you've posted here.
