Heyo, It'll be free. Let me show you what it'll look like before we do anything to it, the following link is my personal site hosted by my same buddy I'm talkin bout hosting our site. So the name will be different than "Twentysomethings" but it will prolly be Sabott.com/CosmicCraft/ instead.

Now it'll take me a day or two to get ahold of my buddy and get the site up, when I get it up I'll set up Boss and MvK as admin on the site to do what they need to do for it =)

I have a friend who owns some webspace, let me see if I can get a hold of him. He may be able to hook us up. Does anyone have any website design experience? My friend has space he could allocate us but he doesn't have time to design it for us due to his work schedule and such.

That's good to hear! It's my personal job to make peoples days. =) As for another thread, I don't really think we need one if you were thinking bout doing it tidy up another thread with construction ideas and various other "server player convos" and use this one as a whitelist application thread that could work....

Heyo all! I have to say the new updates for the server are very nicely done and I am waiting anxiously to hop on begin building! I have no preference on either Mindcrack or Direwolf20 pack, however I do think we're better off with Mindcrack as it lacks mystcraft and has rei's minimap. Where as the DW20 pack has mystcraft and doesn't have rei's. However I'm up for whatever everyone wants =) I just want to get on and start hanging out with everyone. And if anyone that's gonna be recording is in need of a "Sidekick" for lack of wanting a better term I'd be more than happy to help out in anyway I can. I too plan on recording small things when I get my new laptop in a few months so I figure the more people I talk to and help out with their videos then I'll have even more of a ground to start on with mine. =) So I will be following along and keeping up with everything goin on and when the servers up I'll be on! See you all soon! =)

Edit: Hey MvK I was thinking we could do something like teamspeak as well. It's free as far as I know and I don't know how anyone else feels bout skype but I personally can never get it to work right on my computer.

Heyo... So this isn't something that's crashing my game, it's not even something the mod is breaking really but I can't seem to turn off my debug profiler(sp?) option for optifine HD A2 U and minecraft version 1.4.6... It's making the fps drop on my game drastically for some reason, and I have all my other settings set to off and/or fastest. Nothing out of the ordinary for me and my history with opti-fine(Which has been an amazing life-saver! If I could donate I totally would.) I wouldn't have been able to play the last two years without it! So I just wanted to let you know that I can't turn it off but I'm not worried bout it at all and will happily wait til it gets sorted out if. (If it's not a problem with my computer that is!)

I'm 100% up for the idea of the Mindcrack modpack and as I already had prior plans to build the spawn/start hub when I first joined up I'm obviously 300% up for that idea as well. I was thinking about starting to record in a few months once I get my laptop so being able to record on a server would be awesome as well. All in all I think I've found my "home" in minecraft lol I look forward to seeing you all online as soon as the servers up! Until then, I will be checking this thread when I am able to get online from my terrible router and the holidays but rest assured I'm here for the whole deal and I will see you online! =) Have a happy holiday and a festive new year! =)

Awesome! Good to hear we are waiting for the update. According to the Feed The Beast update tracker they're pretty close to being done. Looks to be around 75% as of this writing, so hopefully just after Christmas we'll all be able to hop on and get started enjoying the new modpack. I look forward to seeing what everyone builds and where this server goes. =)

Of course Boss! Any and all help is welcome! I'll post here and put signs up around the server about when and where to start planning and construction.

We could do this, I think it would be a good idea to put it somewhere secure in the central hub, so nobody accidently lands in the nether unprepared... But that would probably just be a separate room really.

Of course! I have to agree I'm anticipating the release of redpower in the construction, and I wont be able to get much done til after the holidays in the way of getting myself settled. So until we get the new map we should just focus on the desired type of architecture and what all to incorporate in the hub. As for the architecture I mean do we want to design something pleasing to the eye and/or have all the different mod machines located in different floors/levels/whatever or just all in one central building? I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense all that much. I hope you get my idea.. =) And I have to say the idea of a central crystal port and nether port would be awesome as well =).

Edit: So not sure who knows or not but it appears Redpower PR6 just released today for 1.4.6... I know what I'm doing til my internets fixed. =)

Heyo everyone! So since the server is currently down and my internet is gonna be buggy til after Christmas it seems, I figured what might work for now (if anything to keep my mind occupied over the holidays when I wont be able to play as much) would be to ask for everyone's thoughts and opinions on the shared machine room I was gonna start laying the groundwork for after I get settled. I am interested in having it being something of a starting area, where people that are new on the server, or if you're not wanting to walk back to your home base, can stop in and process all your materials in the necessary machines. Plus it would more or less add a central area for the server so everyone can show off all their latest creations. However I wont start working on this till I get everyone's one hundred percent okay with it. =) When everyone gets a chance to pick out an ideal spot for it, throw down a sign there, when everyone agrees on one spot construction can begin! =) Thank you all for reading this and most importantly for putting up with me thus far. I look forward to hearing all your responses (good and bad!) and if anyone is welcome to tell me to keep quiet at anytime as well! =)

Hello guys, I just joined the forum looking for a server and this is the first one that came up, so figured I'd throw in a whitelist application and see what happens.

Age(Does not really matter): 24
What is your experience in FTB?: Been playing with it since it released the 1.4.2 pack, previously made my own modpacks that consisted of most of the FTB mods, only I didnt know FTB existed til a few days before it was release. I know a bit about all the mods, still learning alot but I also understand alot.
What can you contribute to the server?: I'm pretty much able to play anytime at the moment, I'd be very interested in helping others build stuff, or contributing ideas, basically if you ask me to help or do something, it's gonna get done. Also I love to make jokes and people laugh, however that does not mean I'm a rude person. I'm generally told I'm a good guy.
In your words,what does rule #5 mean and will you follow it?: Mystcraft, meh, not a fan of the mod too much, I mean I enjoy the idea but on my computer it just lags lags lags, so no worries about me not following that one.

Hmm I feel I should add in that I have not the greatest computer nor have I done any multiplayer on minecraft so I would at least need to know what I need to install/uninstall from my client to be able to join the server, and will optifine work even if its not installed on the server?
