It was during the development periods in which the discovery of Durability predicates made it possible to add limited quantities of content through resource packs by attaching custom models to specific durability values of a weapon or tool and binding that to the unbreakable portion of the item so our custom items only displayed if you had an unbreakable tool with a specific amount of damage which worked perfectly given even in creative the summon of an unbreakable tool from that inventory has no damage and when switching back to survival it becomes a breakable tool.
After a while of developing through these means to add content, it became increasingly annoying, mismanaged and was quite a mess. At a similar time, we gained new connections and partnerships which helped lead us to the creation of the custom_model_data predicate which was introduced back in 1.14 which now gave us the ability to attach unlimited quantities of items not just to tools and weapons but all existing vanilla items opening up an even wider range of uses for much of the new content.

For those wishing to apply - at the current time I would advise you against it. Kraz is AMAZING, friendly and a WONDERFUL man, however someone else they recently hired is power-hungry.
He was Sr. Mod for a day then made a manager and since has demoted people, silenced those wanting to apply and made everything about himself by the name of Xotiic / AccountInvalid (allegedly he was HiveMC Admin staff however I cannot find that anywhere) We simply made a comment that each applicant had a separate channel to arrange things to do with applications and he then did a 180, deleted 2 peoples applications based on the fact we made a simple comment. He then proceed to make a "hearing" which allegedly other staff knew off (when they were not online or active and only when they woke up did they see it) but then proceeds to claim things in his own view. Screenshots of this have all been attached. If this is deleted I shall not be surprised. I am making this comment to warn others and give you what I experienced. The things attached have since been deleted from the server.
