Which is why a hardware upgrade must be needed. (Or bandwidth if that is your bottleneck).

It's usually multiple servers connected using BungeeCord to handle all of the lag.
Simple version, quite good hardware.

Try clearing out your cache or cookies. Also, do a malware scan just to be safe.
It hasn't happened with me yet which leads me to believe you're being fished by a cookie or something.

All you have to do is download the mods, and any prerequisites that they require. Most mods have a tutorial on how to install them, or you could just youtube it. You aren't going to destroy your computer, and you're not going to get any viruses.

TBH, to be very quality, I'd avoid using services like OVH and just buy some datacenter space. That way you have total control over everything, and it's much more professional. (This is coming from a person who doesn't dabble in this much, so take it at face value).

I was thinking something like

Where that box moves in and out when the song changes. There'll be the options and skip GUI if you press a key.
