Nothing right now, but this is stuck in my head

Here's my skin that I updated yesterday by making my eyes bigger (like googly eyes). I have been changing my skin slightly pretty often lately. Right now it's kind of a tropical theme with my sunglasses (which were the glasses I've had on my skin for a while with transparent grey pixels) and shirt (which is a slightly edited version of MumboJumbo's Pacific skin's shirt). The rest are just from my default skin or things I've added over the last couple months like the grey streak in my hair.

Been a while since I've posted. I joined a server a couple weeks ago, and have done a lot. But recently I started doing a project I've done before. Collect every block and item. I'm mostly going in alphabetical order, but not saving some items that I can't find for later. I started out with deepslate emerald ore, deepslate coal ore, and netherite block, which each took a while to get but I finally have them. Oh, I've also been diamond mining since that's the currency at most of the shops, and I'm very poor since I need to buy some items to save way more time.

Also I live in a tropical bungalow on a beach. I recently also tried building my first custom tree, a palm tree, but it turned out terribly so I took it down and might rebuild it later.

Here's my base. The purple shulkers with signs are where I'm putting my collection of every block and item while the colorful ones are my storage which I'm keeping there temporarily (though it's usually in my ender chest or in my basement). It's a 101x101 area centered around that beacon, though only a quarter of it is shown in the picture since the rest is empty.

    So I captured a ghast...

It wasn't so hard with my ghast farm not being so far from my nether portal. The only hard things were pushing the ghast along the rails but not so far since I didn't have enough of them. So I had the ghast stop near the end and get the rails it passed, then place them and push it again. Also my first ghast died because I put the portal in the back of the cell instead of the middle.

Today I built an entrance to my basement from the outside, then worked on my giant map on my roof. Here's the progress so far:

All those maps are a 1:1 scale, and I will expand it four blocks to the left. Between all the mobs in my basement and the maps on my roof, my base might be kind of laggy. Luckily I figured out why my game was laggy when I turned on shaders. I just had to turn down my render distance a bit.

Oh, I also moved my bamboo farm. It was originally next to my sugarcane farm in a tiny room, but now it's below my cactus farm and next to my cocoa farm. It went from just two plants to nine.

Today I focused on passive and neutral mobs. I originally had them in a small area next to my house, but decided to move them to the island that my island overlooks. The glass around the island prevents the mobs from swimming away.

I got an allay, axolotl, cod, donkey, glow squid, mule, salmon, squid, tropical fish, bee, and llama. The allay and axolotl were attached to the fence posts in the middle and bottom right respectively, but for some reason they disappeared which is really annoying. I also have the squids on leads and hope they don't go away, though there's plenty of each in the area. I also plan on attaching the mobs that attack other mobs and the ones who get attacked on leads, but that's worrying if I can't.

I am also running low on hostile mobs I'm willing to trap. The blaze, guardian, ghast, and piglin brute would be annoying to transport and trap. The elder guardian would ruin everything. The silverfish might also be pretty annoying and I'd have to replace the stone bricks. The shulker I'd want but there's a bug where end gateways aren't spawning so I have to wait for that to be patched. The warden is also way too scary and I'd need a noise machine. So that weirdly leaves two mobs that are VERY different from each other. Endermite and wither.

I got the advancements When the Squad Hops into Town and Monsters Hunted. Turns out I killed every hostile mob besides the stray and phantom. I haven't gone to a place where strays naturally spawn and I had phantoms turned off by a data pack, so I just turned a skeleton into a stray and killed it then got rid of that data pack and killed a phantom. I tried getting Two Birds One Arrow at the same time but that's way too hard.

I also worked on my dungeon. I now have a pillager, husk, stray, evoker (that one was SO hard), magma cube, slime, phantom, witch, zombie villager, and ravager. The magma cube and slime were transported from my farms through the nether (and the husk through the nether from the desert). The phantom was pretty much lured into a minecart after giving up on Two Birds One Arrow. The pillager came from a nearby outpost, and the zombie villager spawned while working on the rest. The rest all came from a raid I triggered at my iron farm. It's weird how some mobs you'd expect to be either easy or hard don't turn out that way. After my experience with the spider, I made sure the ravager wouldn't suffocate. It still did a little but I broke the blocks around it. The cage is unfinished and the wrong size and it's still stuck in a minecart, but there's no way I'm going back in there. The vexes were just getting in my way so much while getting the evoker, and it also almost suffocated because the minecart probably got pushed into the wall, but I quickly fixed that. I also guess I missed out on a vindicator. A couple spawned during the raid but they weren't holding axes and didn't try chasing me for some reason so I didn't have a good way of luring them.

Well I got some more mobs in my basement. There's a drowned (the easiest since I just needed a zombie and water), a zombified piglin (pretty easy too after making it angry), a zoglin (surprisingly easy), a wither skeleton (portal is near a fortress so I just had one follow me, but struggled in the overworld since it didn't know what to do while in my house since my ceiling was probably too low), and a few really hard ones. The spider was so annoying since they wouldn't completely fit in the halls, and about 10 attempts went into it because they kept dying by the time they reached the cage. Also it was hard to get it out of the minecart, and I accidentally killed one before finding out I needed an activator rail. A few attempts later, it was finally in. Finally just now I got a charged creeper and it was a pain. Getting a charged creeper isn't too hard once thunder starts, but getting it into the minecart was very stressful. I first tried getting a creeper into the cart first, but it blew up and killed my cow and my other mooshroom. A second time, I got it in the cart and threw a trident not realizing it would break the minecart. So I spent a while trying to lure it into the minecart without getting to close. But once it got in, it got pushed and went into the cage with the top two glass panes in (meaning it couldn't see me) so all I needed to do was break the minecart, name it, and place the last pane.

I finally finished my slime farm!

It's four chunks big, with four more slime chunks next to it if I want to expand. But I don't really need much slime so I don't think I'll expand unless I get bored.

I've also reached a point in my world where I don't have much I need to do, so I'm doing big dumb projects. I decided to try and make a Dinnerbone farm! Here it is so far.

The two extra chickens wandered in. Not pictured are my dog, cat, parrot, and allay. At first I worked on the farm animals, and just now I built a hall in my basement for the neutral and hostile mobs. The zombie was first (I have a resource pack that turns them into Hermits which is why she looks like FalseSymmetry), then the creeper was a pain obviously. Got a couple explosions. After was the skeleton which was pretty easy. Finally was the enderman, who unfortunately I have to keep in the minecart so it doesn't teleport. It already got out once because I wasn't thinking. I did try to get a spider but accidentally killed it while trapping it in a bigger cage across the hall. And now I just realized I might have to get a charged creeper... that'll be a pain. Glad mob griefing is off, but I don't want my mobs to die. One creeper already almost killed my dogs. And I don't even want to think of mobs like ghasts or wardens. Maybe this is one of those projects where I don't need to complete it, I just gradually add to if I feel like it.

Today was focused on two things. Cacti and dye.

I'm pretty happy with my cactus farm even though I actually have a huge desert I just got a lot of cacti from so I don't need it, just like my bamboo farm even though there's a LOT growing nearby. Also while gathering the cacti, I ended up getting bad omen twice in a row and did a raid. I ended up losing because a ravager killed me.

Next was focused on gathering all types of dye. I already had a lot of pink dye from living in a cherry grove, white dye from my skeleton and wither skeleton farms, black dye because I have a data pack where you can make that out of coal, and blue dye because I have a lot of lapis. So I gathered lots of flowers and cacti and made a cocoa bean farm. It's kind of a tradition for me to farm cocoa beans because I once did that on a skyblock server to sell and get lots of their currency. Plus I have a shepherd who buys brown dye. Anyway, I got a stack (or even more) of all dyes. I have 63 lime dye just because I used one to dye a shulker box and it's bothering me. I also organized my ender chest.

Today has been focused on beacons. I spent a lot of time at my iron and wither skeleton farms to get the resources, but I have... well it's bigger than a mega beacon. Normally mega beacons have six beacons next to each other, but I spread mine apart because I thought it would look cool for them to be next to my door. Also I will replace the gold and emerald blocks when I get more iron. I also noticed my mega beacons are always made of different blocks. My first one was gold, second was emerald, and this is iron. I'm scared for my next to worlds because according to this pattern they'd have to be diamond or netherite.

I fought the wither five times today (and once probably yesterday or a few days ago). Maybe it's because I have the saturation effect at all times, but the fight itself is not the hard part. It's getting the skulls. Going from Bedrock to Java where the drop rates are lower is annoying.

Also I have renamed my tools after the songs from Enchant by Emilie Autumn because my skin is already based on that and I like having themes for my tool names. My pickaxe is Save You, sword is Rose Red, axe is Castle Down, shovel is Remember, hoe is How Strange, and bow is Across the Sky. I actually was going to name the elytra Across the Sky but I couldn't name it while keeping the rainbow texture, so I went with my bow.

Oh, and you can see my pegasus next to me because of a resource pack. The other horse (and the one I usually use) is supposed to be a unicorn but I couldn't get it to work. I also got three dogs.

Yesterday was focused on advancements, especially A Complete Catalogue. I built a room for the cats, and went to a few villages (and a witch hut) to find them. I then realized if I added two new villagers to my iron farm then cats would start spawning which is helpful since the nearest village is pretty far away. So I put two villagers and beds underground nearby and tamed any cat I saw, even if it was a type I already had. I eventually got all variant and named three of them. The front ragdoll is Ash, the calico is Alaina (both named after my cats who are calico ragdolls), and one of the Jellies is obviously named Jellie.

Today was customization. I got the resource packs Elytras+, Weapons+, and Creatures+ and turned my helmet into a crown, my sword into Meowmere (know nothing about Terraria but I loved it), my other tools are amethyst, and my elytra is rainbow. I also changed my outfit in my skin from a pink shirt and grey skirt into this:

I based it on the cover of Emilie Autumn's album Enchant. I didn't like how the crop top looked on the skin so I changed it to a dress. Also I actually changed it three times. The first time I forgot the shoes, then the second time I forgot the inside parts of the shoes (left side of right leg and right side of left leg). Finally got it right the third time.

I have made a couple farms.

Here is my ghast farm. I'm pretty proud of this one since I didn't really follow instructions. I based it on the one MumboJumbo made in Last Life. It's at the build limit above the nether, and lit up so only ghasts should spawn. I got over three stacks of gunpowder and ghast tears.

Here is my iron farm, which I found a schematic for litematica. I AFK'd here for a while so now I have plenty of iron.

I've also built a furnace room, done a little terraforming so the area around my house has no holes or trenches. Oh, and I did some advancement grinding. I'm going to try to get as many as I can, but most of these are easy ones. Except for respawning the dragon (also getting dragon breath and looking at her with a spyglass) since I had to kill her again. And it turns out there's a bug where end gateways don't spawn after respawning her so I'm pretty annoyed since I'd have to travel very far to get Great View from Up Here.

I know the potions changed. Maybe I'm missing something, or maybe I should get a resource pack that changes the effect.

This time I got three more villagers. One with blast resistance (which I later found out I don't really need), one who sells beds which I later used to mine some ancient debris, and one that buys stone and granite which is pretty useful since I'm gradually mining four chunks to Y 39. Here's the progress so far, around Y 67.

I have also added a beeralis farm and expanded my house. I also decided to add a long window to my hallway which has a pretty nice view.

I just wish I could see the lake from the hallway. Maybe next time I'll soften the cliff outside my house for a better view.
