I've already tried it in game, it's not satisfying.
I can't seem to come up with one that looks good in-game
I think I still want the background to be darker than the mineral chunks, but I could make the background a more orange color and make the mineral chucks more white and less yellow to make them look brighter
You can try to work on it if you want to, but I'm going to try it again some other time
hello i was just wondering if i am the only person that gets a very messed up brick ? with this texture pack
BTW THIS TEXTURE PACKS IS AMAZING :tongue.gif:
You did one of these two things, both of which are wrong:
1) You're using the Regular Texture Pack and you didnt install the HD Texture Patch
2) You're using the Texture Selector Pack and you didn't read "Problems.txt"
Figure out which thing you didn't do and go do it, that should fix your problem
But the problem with lightstone is that it is not managed as a real light source. It makes light around but the lightning of the block itself depends on the other source of light in the room. So the lighstone doesn't seem to glow...
Try this one, just right click and save as "terrain.png", then move it into "minecraft.jar"
EDIT: Nevermind, I can already see it's too yellow... give me another 10 minutes
Thanks, it worked like that but yeh the bugs are there sadly :/... Will these be fixed soon? or maybe another way to install on the mac added?
So you found the bin folder and opened it... now you need to open "Minecraft.jar" with WinRAR
- Install WinRAR for mac
- Right click "Minecraft.jar" (or hold the ctrl key and click)
- Select "Open with..."
- Select "WinRAR Archiver"
If you do not see WinRAR Archiver in the list:
- Select "choose default program"
- Browse your computer for "WinRAR.exe"
When you have successfully opened "Minecraft.jar" with WinRAR,
continue to follow the mac instructions included in the pack
and in the .minecraft folder putting it into the texturepack folder there didnt either :/.
This is the easiest way to install the pack, but it causes some glitches too:
- Open "Mixcraft v21 Pack"
- Open "Texture Selector Packs"
- Open "Mixcraft HD"
- Drag the zip file from that folder to the "texturepacks" folder
- Start Minecraft
- Click "Mods and Texture Packs"
- Select "Mixcraft HD"
- Click "Done"

that water looks familiar :tongue.gif: a little note would be great
Gaah! I mentioned it like five times earlier but somehow forgot to put it in the main post!
Sorry about that, I fully intended to give you credit for the base animation

I'll try to present another version of lighstone if you d'ont mind.
Sure, I would love to see what you have in mind for the lightstone
When I launch the patch, the texture change to the old version !
What's wrong :
Are you sure you have the most recent version of Minecraft?
Also, make sure the patcher is Version 1.1.10 or it won't work
Delete the bin folder, start minecraft, close minecraft, redownload the pack, and install the textures again

Just wondering if you can repost in More Detail Exact instructions to get your latest verson working on mac...
That's a bit hard for me since I'm using Windows Vista, so I can't write down exactly what to do for Mac
The only difference should be the folder location... were you able to find the ".minecraft" folder?
(it contains three folders: bin, resources, and texturepacks)
Two question : I've changed one painting in the "art" folder" but when I install the pack, it's still look like the original version of your painting and I must re-change the folder "art" after the patch. And can I do to definitively change it ? When I install the last version (21.1), the zombie picture changes but, after patching, it gets to the older version , Maybe it's the same with other things, I didn't check...
I can tell from your pictures that you are not using the most recent version of my pack...
Your half-block texture and gold block texture are both from at least Version 19 or earlier
Also you have custom water and custom lava turned off, which you shouldnt
Did anyone else suffer a performance drop since beta? My GPU usage dropped from 99% in alpha to 4 - 10% in beta. Also my frames dropped from a constant 60 to 9 fps.
Yes, this is happening to a lot of people, its not because of the texture pack
Notch said he is aware of this issue and will hopefully fix it today
The Christmas pack is full of awesome! Could you add festive Christmas music to fit the mood as well? Oh, and I got an idea... Change the cows into reindeer and the creepers into evil snowmen. I love the Santa zombies btw!
I'm certainly not done with the christmas edition yet! There are still some things I want to add to it...
Thanks for the ideas! I will try to see what things I can add for the next update

It would be really useful
(Also, why does your cloth/wool become cobblestone? Since when are sheep covered in cobblestone?)

Well there's your problem!

Thanks a lot

I'm still going to call it Version 21 cause I don't like big numbers cause I'm only in 2nd grade
No seriously, this update just adds the new patcher, which means custom water and lava work again!
Now you can see my amazing new still water animation! Yay!
Enjoy!

This isn't a texture pack...

Hahaha... So I guess I shouldnt post... THIS!
No but seriously, I will include an alternate in the "Options and Extras" folder
Just wait for me to re-release Version 21 with the new patcher
