Although I'm still away at college and don't have the time to update this pack on my own, I want to thank all of the people who have been updating it while I've been gone. Specifically, I've noticed that BerenSaelor and JRoush have been posted some updates recently. I'm sure there are others who have contributed at some point, and I just want to say that I really appreciate all of your help with keeping this texture pack alive!
Anyway, that's all for now. Keep up the awesome work, guys.
Hello everyone, this is Koolwitak. As some of you may have noticed, I mysteriously disappeared for the past year, and I apologize for leaving all of you wondering what happened to me. Unfortunately, I have to say that I have abandoned my work on this texture pack. In fact, I am no longer following the development of Minecraft. I am so thankful for all of your dedication since my work first began during the Alpha stages of the game. With that said, I hope you all continue to enjoy this game and the many other texture packs available on this site. If anyone wishes to revive this pack under their own name with updated textures, please feel free to do so. Mixcraft is no longer my project. It belongs to all of you now.
Your texture pack isn't compatible with 1.3 version of Minecraft.
Download it from this post and try it. It's 1.2.5 texture pack with only emerald added. Please fix that !
Yes it is. I just downloaded it last night and re-installed it on my new computer.
You got one of the painting designs from Doctor Who.
If one of those paintings was in an episode of Doctor Who, I can assure you that wasn't where I got it from. Most of them are just pixelized versions of pictures I've found over time that I just happen to like.
Mixcraft Basic Item.png isn't the same as the Mixcraft HD :/
Would you mind making them the same?
I like the looks of the dyes and the bottle on Mixcraft HD but I prefer 16x16 for now
Well the point of Mixcraft Basic is to be a 16x16 pixel version of Mixcraft, including both the terrain AND the items. It makes more sense when I keep most of the textures at the same resolution. I make a few exceptions for things like the mobs and the menus, but everything else is staying low resolution to keep the basic pack consistant.
I created an account just to reply to this thread. I love this texture pack, and it's the only one I ever use. However, I've always had difficulties getting the water, lava, and fire textures to work. Is there something I'm missing?
You're not following the instructions included in the texture pack. You can't just download the pack and drop it in the texture packs folder and expect it to work, you need use a program like WinRAR to extract the files to a separate folder and then read the installation instructions included inside the pack.
I just tested the pack with 1.3 and everything seems to be working fine. If anyone finds any problems, please post here and be specific so I can fix whatever it is.

*I also have ocd about keeping things organized and clean, such as chest inventories and the general landscape. I consider it a good trait to have on a minecraft server, especially with all the griefers out there.
The texture pack still looks broken! Especialy when I look a netherack, it looks like water? Any sudgestions, im using 1.2.5, with version 47
which I think is the correct one to use? XD maybe?!?! lol I don't know if its the water shader im using, but I doubt it.
You didn't install the HD texture patcher. You need to extract the texture pack to a folder and follow the instructions included INSIDE the texture pack. They explain how to run the patcher and fix that problem.

I update it every time a new version of minecraft is released.

Which textures do you think are missing?

I'll look into that. As long as it doesn't mess up the texture pack for people who don't have the mod, I'll see what I can do.

If you mean to say it should be more loyal, could you point out specific textures you think need work?

Thanks! I try my best!

Thanks for checking that. I don't normally use mods, so I wouldn't know.
