Circumstances: Installed an auto breaker from random things. Did not have a chest yet for the breaker. It broke the first cobble and then the game crashed. Well, I had neither crafted nor used any backpack yet in this world. There is an NPE "Ticking block entity" at brad16840.common.MessageChannel.sendToPlayer(MessageChannel.java:204).
I've updated Minecraft to 1.12.1. The backpacks mod seems not to load. It does not appear in the modlist and the recipes are not registered. But the jar file in the mods folder is "in use" and cannot be deleted while the game runs.
Thank you very much for changing the behaviour with the fast load. Now I do not have to gear up again after each loading.
Inventory Tweaks: As far as I can tell until yesterday it feeled as if there was nothing. What I wanted to do in example:
Extract all redstone dusts from the backpack to my redstone crate. To do this I click on a pile of redstone while holding down Shift + Ctrl. All the redstone is transferred in one click. By holding down the space key and clicking on a pile the whole inventory gets moved. This simply did not work at all until yesterday. I had to extract every pile one by one. To get this done automatically I put an xnet connector on the ground which extracts stack-wise and leave the backpack alone.
I really love this feature of the mod: You put the backpack on a hopper (or some inventory extracting mod pipe) and it gets emptied.
Weird! Inventory Tweaks works now - partially. When doing either the space key (full inv) or the shift+ctrl (same items) sometimes the targeted items do not move always into the target inv but get moved inside the backpack. As if the other inventory was integrated into the backpack. When following the items and doing it again they finally become moved outside the backpack and find the correct inventory.
But before you investigate further in that matter I must admit that yesterday I played with the config file to see what happens with the size when changing the height and the width. So now there is a backpack with 13 cols and 10 rows and another one: a giant pack with 25 cols and 10 rows. The new size only effects freshly generated backpacks after restarting the game. Now this is something where I was pleased again: The size of the backpacks is not stored in the config, but in the backpacks itself - as it should be. The old packs with 9 cols by 8 rows still work and did not get messed up. The reported behaviour of moving items inside the backpack instead of moving them out concerns the giant backpack mainly.
At the moment I'm very pleased with Backpacks!.
There's no game breaking bug and the Inventory Tweaks keys I want do work mostly.
In the world of the comment above I digged my way through a arctic abbyss biome and suddenly stumbled upon ichor and then had two buckets of the red fluid. Now, in a new world I already went into two AA-biomes and never found any ichor. Neither above nor below the surface.
Is there a way to get ichor easily? All the structures I found only had spawners, chests or both. Is there any structure which indicates ichor??

I have a strange bug running: The netherwart does not grow anymore. Usually, when planting a row of netherwart crops some of them pop directly into growstate 1. Now: Nothing. They stay at 0% growth for minecraft days. And weeks.
I also tried to grow it in the nether. Stays stuck there, too.
I have Forge 14.21.1.2420 and installed some mods (no modpack). Here's the modlist:
Super Mod! Just replaced all lasers on a half built farm - about 89. Its clean and functional. The all-in-one-pipe is the solution to my transportation problems. The same connector can give energy or insert items - just great!
but it states that it is unable to find the save files in c:\users\appdata....
How can I change the saved files path? I have multiple MC versions in c:\minecraft. My saved games for 1.11.2 are in c:\minecraft\1.11\.minecraft\saves

Edit:
World loading was prohibited by the crash. Going back to version 3.4.4 allows loading of world and continuing game play.

... have the inventory tweaks integration for fast moving of contents.
... have the "load from inventory" function not strip my armor and put it into the backback.
The last one seems to be an issue.

Edit: "load from invetory" does not only take my armor, but also the player's inventory (excluding the hotbar).
I feel like when loading from inventory then only the targeted chest contents should be moved and nothing else.
