I've got to tell you this. Me and a bro has been looking for a mod like this for at least six months, making a 64x64 dessert biome ain't easy. So thank you a million times. <3
How is it that you know exactly what my plans for maps are, and then build them before me? Are you somehow using your freakishly extensive knowledge of block mechanics to read my brain? :mellow.gif:
Anyway, I was also going to make a capture the wool map. Now I cannot without permission from you. Although your map probably will be better than mine because of your amazingness...
This note is not meant to be mean to Vechs, the ruler of super-hostile-ia. Don't be mad at me.
Vechs, I admire you. You are a role model. Unfortunately, now I have an urge to torment other people using maps. Thank you very much! (<--- not sarcastic at all)
Oh, don't think Vechs has been the first one to think of this.
It's basically capture the flag, so I doubt he'll sue you if you manage to create a decent Hold the Wool
Care to elaborate? The only problem I see is if the player dies without the item and then somehow finds a way to get back and find the item again.
Solution: Either add the item itself to the inventory and not give any chests, or make sure the item falls in lava.
Of course, the map wouldn't be available to multiplayer. Or if it was, the players wouldn't get the "special" item.
His point (could be) that the player could have gone better off just restarting the map instead of playing further, which doesn't really benefit much when it comes to gameplay. Same thing goes for Vechs nightmare map with both the game over land and the house. But it's kinda different since it brings the game to a halt.
Erm... Can anyone answer this? In Vechs' MCEdit tutorial, he started with a new world and selected the chunks he wanted and deleted it. however, wouldnt it be easier to just generate a flatworld straight from mcedit and edit from there?
There isn't a real different between the two, other than in MCedit you can do both, but MC generates faster. ( I think. )
It doesn't really matter though, so whatever floats your boat.
Yeah, I've just started playing this, and I was thinking the same thing.
I can't find any sort of renewable food, so i'm guessing not. (If there is can someone tell me? :smile.gif: )
There's actually a food supply pretty close to the monument. Just follow the railroad towards the Cathedral of Suidae and keep your eyes to the left.

Also, we added a new guy to the team: Hedgehogs4Me, he'll be our trap producer.

Not to burst your bubble, but that feature has been there since 1.8. (I think)
Anyway, It's nothing knew, he already knows.

Oh well, I think it's silly.

Also, who else than I got through the red wool trap on Nightmare without triggering it on the first try?

Complete Black desert in one go. Every time you die you take a shot.
Simple eyh?
