    posted a message on [1.3.2] Wasteland Generator Mod! FINALLY UPDATED!
    I managed to find several NPC villages. I spawned near a NPC village. My goal was to find a sapling to grow trees. I managed to find one in another NPC village. When I do, I walked back to the first village I found and planted some trees. They are healthy with leaves. They even drop apples.

    I think it's normal for NPC villages to spawn, it appears if you have Generate Structures ON. I view these villages as examples of surviving civilization. The mod is awesome but there appears to be no oasis and no deserts anywhere. Just an endless sea of dirt and stone basins. By the way, iron ore and coal seems to be very common. Gold, redstone, lapis lazuli and diamonds can still be found. I think the mod probably doesn't alter the cave generation but I tend to find a LOT of iron and coal. I put the iron to good use by making minecart tracks that connect from a NPC village to another. Only thing I wished was to find oasis. There's no passive mobs anywhere to be found.

    posted a message on Pocket Edition for BlackBerry
    I have BlackBerry Bold 9780 and I wonder when Pocket Edition is going to come out for BlackBerry.

    If you think BlackBerry can't handle it, think again. There are couples of 3D games for BlackBerry.

    BlackBerry is actually capable of rendering 3D. It's just that the game has to be tested.

    It could work on BlackBerry Bold and Torch.

    For Bold 9900, it has touch screen. Torch also have touch screen.
    What about controls? For keypad, you can use 2,4,6,8 to move. Space to jump. Hold down trackpad to hit/destroy blocks. To look around, you swipe fingers on trackpad. Click trackpad to place, activate objects, or attack mobs. To access game menu, you press the back button. To access select blocks, you press Home Key.

    For BlackBerry version of Pocket Edition, the map size will have to be 128x128x128 initially for testing. If it goes well, it should be expanded to 256x128x256.

    The size for Pocket Edition is 4.3 MB. There's several apps with that size. So BlackBerry will have no problem running Minecraft Pocket Edition.

    BlackBerry Bold 9900 is powerful. It's not weak.

    There's iPhone and Android version yet Minecraft Pocket Edition hasn't been ported to BlackBerry yet.

    posted a message on More Doors
    One of the existing doors, Iron Door, will have blast resistance slightly raised to 45. I'm changing stone door idea.

    posted a message on More Doors
    We only have 2 type of doors: Wood and Iron.

    So I came up with idea of 6 more doors.

    -Glass
    -Nether Brick
    -Stone :stone:
    -Gold :GoldBar:
    -Diamond :Diamond:
    -Obsidian :obsidian:

    Glass door has blast resistance of 10, which is lower than wood. It can be opened just like wooden door. Because glass is fragile, it's easily destroyed. If glass door is destroyed, it drops 2 to 4 blocks of glass. If the block underneath is destroyed, the door itself is dropped. Villagers can use glass doors. Great for modern style houses.

    Recipe:
    :Glass: :Glass: ::
    :Glass: :Glass: ::
    :Glass: :Glass: ::
    (Glass blocks, not glass panes)

    Nether Brick door has blast resistance of 20, which is same as stone door. Nether Brick can be opened just the same way as wooden door. Great for matching Nether-style houses.

    Recipe:
    6 Nether Bricks (Can't find icons) (In 2x3 rectangle)

    Stone door has blast resistance of 20, which is between wood and iron. It can be opened by right-clicking, just like wooden doors. Villagers can open these too. It takes much longer for zombies to break down stone door. (4 times the time taken to break down wooden door)

    Recipe:
    :cobblestone: :cobblestone: ::
    :cobblestone: :cobblestone: ::
    :cobblestone: :cobblestone: ::

    Gold door has blast resistance of 30. Like iron door, it can only be opened with switches. Crafted using 6 Gold Ingots.

    Recipe:
    :GoldBar: :GoldBar: ::
    :GoldBar: :GoldBar: ::
    :GoldBar: :GoldBar: ::

    Diamond door has blast resistance of 60, making it more TNT-resistant. Highly resistant to creeper blast. It behaves the same as Iron door. Crafted using 6 diamonds.

    Recipe:
    :Diamond: :Diamond: ::
    :Diamond: :Diamond: ::
    :Diamond: :Diamond: ::

    Obsidian door has blast resistance of 1337. It's tough to break as obsidian blocks. Still, it behaves the same as Iron Door. Crafted with 6 obsidian blocks.

    Recipe:
    :obsidian: :obsidian: ::
    :obsidian: :obsidian: ::
    :obsidian: :obsidian: ::

    The recipes will be the same layout as wood and iron doors. That is, 2x3 rectangle.

    :: = Blank

    Changes to existing doors.
    -Iron Door: Blast Resistance raised from 25 to 45 for a bit more realistic.

    I want to see them included in vanilla Minecraft. New door styles allow for more different styles.

    posted a message on [1.7.10] nohero's mods: More Health Enchanted: Beta for Health Loss Issue 1/2/2016
    One of the best mods ever! I love getting more health. Because 10 hearts is not enough. There can be huge drop that can easily kill player even at full health.

    When I got the mod, I fiddled with mod a bit and configured it to not generate heart containers and adjusted it to cap at 20 hearts and set level curve at 1,3,6,10,15,21,28,36,45,55. For me, I think 30 hearts are too much and I find a cap of 20 hearts enough for me.

    The mod give me a bit of RPG feel.

    My rating: 5/5
