Silverfish don't climb walls, and only deal 1/2 a heart of damage. They are designed to attack in numbers. Basically, you don't need to blow up a bunch of silverfish blocks to make many of them spawn. Instead, just place one or two in an area that the player will mine, and place many of them in the ground. (I think you can edit the damage value to make the silverfish blocks look like cobblestone, bricks, and a few other blocks besides stone.) When the player mines the silverfish block, it will spawn a silverfish, which the player will try to kill. When a silverfish is killed, the other silverfish can sense it, and the player will only need to kill one or two of them to trigger all the ones in the floor to spawn, (And when they come up from the floor, they have a creepy block digging animation, two.) causing an army of silverfish to rise from the ground and slowly kill the player, as if it were a scene from a horror movie.
That sounds totally awesome. Vechs Damn well better use it all the time in everything ever.
Wait even better is this you're small everything is giant idea. It could be set in a two story house or something with the wools scattered around the rooms. Some in the kitchen some in the lounge room. Maybe a few in the attic and the backyard. Just imagine climbing up into a fridge to find the orange wool or something.
My fellow adventurers! I have an announcement. I have just beaten canopy carnage. Why is this so special? It was the last super hostile I had to beat. That's right, every single one of them including the current version of endless deep has been conquered.
I kept telling myself that I wouldn't do canopy carnage because it looked too annoying. And now here I am.... I guess that's all there is to say.
Adding exactly 9 pieces of iron on a map, and telling the player there are only 9 pieces of iron there, period. And he has to choose, either wants he an bucket, or a complete victory monument? Which will it be? There can be other iron tools of course.
I don't think that really works as a trade off. I mean you're just saying "Hey you can either get a lava bucket and make the map easier or... Actually be able to finish the map."
could someone provide a list of how mcuh wool there is in each area of infernel sky? im missing 2 and ive beaten everything...
Okay I've been wrong before but fairly certain this is it:
2 in classic sky, 3 in ghost town, 2 in shattered sky, 2 in the place with lots of trees, 1 in the armada, 1 in cloud nine, 1 in the undersky, 1 in red mist, 1 in burn the wood, 2 in creeper castle
anyone know where this 4th wool is inside the "ghost town"
Ive searched high and low and I've only found 3
locations of wool that I have found: Below the town hall, The vault in the treasury, The roof of the Hotel
If you are getting the info that there are 4 wools in the ghost town from me and you've already searched literally everywhere for it then I am probably mistaken. The words "Thorough" or "Remembers things well" don't really work to describe me.
hey guys quick question about infernal sky 2 me and some friends are stuck at intersection 2 and cant find 3 we searched high and low but cant find it >.<
Intersection 3 is:
Inside that bedrock cave beneath the classic sky. Gotta go through a nether portal to reach it so just search those caves till you find it.
Well, I finished Infernal Sky II as you can see here:
I think that makes me the first, correct me if I'm wrong... Also, no spoilers since you see the monument at spawn. I really liked some of the dungeons, but most of the combat in this map felt kind of half-assed. The exploration and platforming aspect was spot on, however, so I still loved this map.
I actually did it yesterday. I gave an in depth run down a few posts or pages back. I dunno if that makes me the first though or if someone else just did it earlier but didn't post about it.
YES I have done it. Infernal sky 2 is defeated. I can finally be rid of those endless voids. Now for my run down.
Unfortunately this feels like a step backwards for the super hostile series. The layout of sea of flames two with its zones and dungeons clearly marked worked really well. Here the layout was a little confusing. In particular the way certain zones had different amounts of wool. Some had 1 some had 2 and the ghost town even had 4 or something like that plus every metal block.
What I really hated was the tedious bridge building that had to be done everywhere. In particular "The red mist beckons" and "the grand armada" (or whatever its name was). I can understand that in parts it was necessary but the incomplete intersection bridges sort of annoyed me. Its not like its difficult to hold down shift, S and right click at the same time. But enough criticism.
By far my favourite zone was the ghost town. If that is a hint of what you are capable of in terms of city building, Vechs, I must now demand a city based Super Hostile. The treasury was especially rewarding (badum tss) but as I trawled through it I kept getting the sense that it was an Aladdin style trap. Like the whole vault was rigged to explode if I took anything except the wool.
Finally I noticed there seemed to be a distinct lack of lava. Perhaps this is something we may expect in the next RomHack hard map to stop this pesky lava bucketers.
In the end I had a death count of about 5-7 or something I can't remember. However I am proud to say that not one of them was to the endless, screaming and soul rending void both in or outside the nether.
Sorry about these spoilers, but I don't want to ruin it for other players.
Search the ROOF for brick blocks among the sandstone. Signs will tell you to dig directly down: the spot of lava below the brick blocks conceals the glass roof of the wool room.
Pain Water does not lead to another the area.
The Caves of Confusion lead to Intersection III.
I'm pretty sure that's accurate. (Used MCEdit )
If you're finding the East Commons hard, sorry man, because it gets a lot tougher. Do it the Zistonian way: BURN THE TREES.
I tried doing it the "zistonian way" when I was there but all I had at the time were the pools of lava and leading fire from them didn't work too well. But I ask again: Can anyone PLEASE PLEASE tell me where the yellow wool is in Kaizo Caverns this is driving me nuts.

I too would like it to be harder. Add my name to that sign and I shall smite any who oppose my wishes.

I think you are onto something with that one.

How do you prove a thing like that. You can just Inventory edit all the wools and blocks.

Yeah that one was a nightmare. I ended up just making a 1 block wide bridge and hoping for luck with ghast and pigmen spawns.
